168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil has been enjoying a lot of success recently, with quality titles such as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil Village and remake projects that give new life to titles such as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 2 and 4 welcoming us into a new golden age for the series. It's always important to stay in touch with the roots of a series though, regardless of how successful it goes on to be, and modder AlphaZomega has done that by adding fixed camera angles and tank controls to Resident Evil 2's remake.
First shared by Twitter user Suzi Hunter earlier this week, this nostalgic creation from AlphaZomega was , and will let you play Resident Evil 2's remake with similar fixed camera angles to that of the 1998 original. That means, instead of the over-the-shoulder camera angle that fans of the series have been used to for almost two decades, the camera will snap to different locations across the game and will watch Leon and Claire move around them.
On top of this, camera-specific tank controls have also been added, which means players will need to push in the direction of wherever their character is facing to move forward when the camera shifts. Of course, tank controls can take some getting used to, and can be very controversial depending on who you ask these days, so AlphaZomega has cleverly included a bunch of customization options for you to tinker with to get your perfect controls scheme if the tank controls aren't for you.
Of course, having a fixed camera angle will also make aiming pretty tricky, seeing as though Resident Evil 2 Remake was designed with an over-the-shoulder perspective in mind. Thankfully, AlphaZomega's mod also comes with an Autoaim feature that will help your weapon snap to an enemy's body part of your choosing. With all this combined, this mod is the perfect answer if you feel like having a blast from the past without the dated graphics.
If this has convinced you to check out AlphaZomega's mod, you can download it via Nexus Mods, but you will need another mod installed before you do that to make sure it works. You can to download the REFramework mod created by Praydog2 back in 2022, which is essential to get your retro camera angles up and running. Apart from that, you can tinker about with the mod's settings to give yourself the retro experience of your dreams.
