The news of Resident Evil 2's success comes hot on the heels of a similar announcement from Capcom, where they talked about how they will be focusing more on developing games for the PC platf🔥orm in the future, as games like Monster Hunter World exceeded expectations in terms of digital sales when they were sold on Windows. This is even more noteworthy when you consider how the PC version was released seven m💖onths after the cons🧸ole version of the game.

Resident Evil 2 has seen almost universal acclaim since it was released, with most reviewers praising the game for improving upon many elements of the original. The complaints about Resident Evil 2 have mostly been about its short length and reused assets across the differen💜t scenarios.

The fact that the Resident Evil 2 remake has sold so well means that we are almost guaranteed to see a similar remake for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, which should have a shorter turnaround than the last game, as many of the assets and locations (like the Raccoon City Police Department) have already been developed for Resident Evil 2.

It's good to see that a game like Resident Evil 2 has pe𒁏rformed so well, considering its lack of microtra🍬nsactions and its DLC being restricted to costumes and minor items, with the only major story content being given away for free in order to give the fans a different perspective on the events that transpired in the game.

The developers of Resident Evil 2 set out to modernize a classic title and they did an admirable job that kept the stoౠry safe from a lot of the greedy practices that are dogging so many titles that are released today.
