Saddler was most likely trying to psyche Leon out by referring to the monster only as ‘It’, leaving its true form up to Leon’s imagination. However, it completely backfires, as Leon turns it around and calls Saddler old in🍌stead, insinuating that he forgot the name. Saddler seems to enjoy it though, as he laughs too.
9 "This Meat's Rotten... But I Sure Could Use A Fat Juicy Steak Right About Now." - Said In Response To Seeing A Hunk Of Rotten Meat
When seeing a room filled with various pieces of rotten meat, Leon comments on the fact that he could go for a &ldq🐓uo;fat juicy steak”. This sight would put a large majority of people off their dinner, but somehow, it strengthens Leon’s appetite.
Considering the meat is covered in maggots and is, well, disgusting, it’s surprising that Leon could even think about his stomach when looking at it. But when you consider the fact that he hasn&rsqu﷽o;t eaten in hours, you can forgive him this time. Shooting Ganados 🌞is hungry work.
8 “Thanks. That Should Keep Me Company. Cuz Boredom Kills Me.&rdquoജ; - Said When Salazar Sends Insects Into The Sewer To Attack Him ♉
Leon’s transmissions with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the cartoonishly evil Ramon Salazar result in lots of funny scenarios. Salazar hijacks Leon’s transmission with Hunnigan to inform him that he’s sending a legion of mutated inse🍷ct monsters after him in the sewers.
Like any good action hero, Leon replies with a one-liner, showing that he’s not bothered by this at all and enjoys the free entertainment. Theꦐ way Leon’s voice actor, Paul Mercier, performed this line emphasizes Leon’s eagerness to one-up Salazar. There’s something absurd about Leon and Salazar’s back-and-forth banter that’s humorous and endlessly entertaining.
7 “MIIIIIIKE!&꧃rdq🔯uo; - Passionately Yelled Following Mike’s Death
Mike is a very minor character in RE4. He pilots the helicopter that gives Leon air support during the second half of the game, but you never actually get to see him outside his helicopter. He’s as background as a background character can get, but that doesn’t stop Leon from passionately yelling Mike's name once his helicopter gets blown up by an RPG.
Leon must be quick to form attachments, because he took Mike’s death personally. Not only did he yell out the man’s name in anguish, but immediately following Mike’s demise, he quietly vowed that Saddler, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the game's final boss, would be “the next to go.” There's something silly about seeing a relatively pointless background character's death not only take a toll on the protagonist of a story, but also fuel his revenge.
6 “Your Right Hand Comes Off?” - S🔯poken Toꦦ Salazar In Response To A Death Threat
Leon’s got some dad jokes, and he tosses this one out while on a call with one of RE4's villains, Salazar, who mentions that he’s sent his “right hand” to dispose of Leon. This is effectively a threat on Leon’s life, but our heroic himbo protagonist sees it as the perfect opportunity to throw out a corny one-liner.
Not going to lie, it’d be interesting to see whꦫat Leon would have to say to a Resident Evil character whose hands do actually come off, namely Resident Evil Village’s Ethan Winters.
5 🐻 “Hey, It’s That Dog!” - Spoken To Himself When Seeing A Wolf During A Boss Fight
Early in RE4, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:you’ll encounter a wolf caught in a bear trap. If you free it, it’ll pop up t📖o help you while fighting El Giganꦯte. Its entrance is accompanied by this wonderfully observant line, where Leon erroneously refers to the wolf as a dog.
It's pretty obvious that the wolf in question is clearly not a dog; there's a very clear difference between these animals, even if they are related. What makes this line even more absurd is that Leon's not even talking to anyone. He's by himself during this scene, just taking in his surroundings and verbalizing it, seemingly, just for himself. Thank goodness he is, otherwise, we wouldn't have this hilarious line.
4 ☂ 🧜 “No Thanks, Bro” - Spoken To Salazar During Their First Meeting
When Leon and Ashley meet Salazar, the villain explains that he’s been expecting them. Leon then tosses out this retort seemingly randomly. Salazar isn’t trying to recruit him, or offer him anything, but Leon sees it as a good time to tell him, “No thanks, bro.✃”
This line is delivered with such attitude that it’s hard not to laugh. The addition of “bro” makes it even more absurd, considering Leon is an on-duty government agent nearing 30 who is face-to-face with an adult responsible for kidnapping the President of the United States' daughter. Not only is Leon trying a little too hard to be cool, but he quite literally picked the worst possible time to throw out his hip, mid-2000s lingo.
3 “Way” - Said In Response To Ashley Sa꧂ying “No Way”
Leon flexes his dry wit during an exchange with Ashley Graham while contemplating whether to jump into a garbage dump or not. Naturally, Ashley is scared, and also put off by how bad the chasm they’re standing ꦑover smells. “No way, Leon,” she says.
So, what does Leon do? He grabs the President of the United States’ daughter by the 🍒hand, forces her to jump off of the ledge with him, and quips “Way” as the two fall into a dark, dank pit. What makes this moment just a little funnier is that Leon is clearly enjoying himself while doing this, and even goes on to crack a few more jokes after the two finish falling.
2 “I’m Sure You Boys Didn’t Just Tag Along So We Can ♑Sing Kumbaya Together At Some Boy Scout Bonfire” - Said To Two Cops During The Game’s Intro
This is not something you say in a normal conversation. While being escorted to the unnamed village featured in RE4, Leon’s travel companions — two cops — try to break the ice a little with him, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:prompting the main character to reply with this extremely bizarre line.
What Leon meant to say here was something along the lines of “cut to the cha🍸se,” but instead he threw this out. Considering this is one of his first lines in the game, it definitely sets a standard for the kind of 🙈silly tone you can expect throughout the rest.

If you weren't sure of RE4's tone after Leon's "kumbaya" line in the intro, you're definitely sure of it now. This is a bad comedy featuring Resident Evil characters, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
