Bonuses are gained by either having multiple different colors of gem or by having multiple gems of the same color. In g💞eneral, the bonus for matching colors is higher, but depending on the shape of the sockets and your available gems you may not be able to get a full matching set every time.

All Gem Bonuses

The Elegant Crown is the only treasure in the game with five gem slots. While the multiplier for inlaying it with five multicolored gems is slightly higher, you'll get more money if you inlay the Elegant Crown with two Yellow Diamonds and three Red Beryls since those gems are the m🐻ost valuable.
