While the Merchant is clearly on Leon's side in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 4 Remake, he doesn't offer his services for free. You'll need the local currency, pesetas, to resupply items, repair your equipment, and buy or upgrade new weapons. The game is fairly generous, but sometimes you need to come up with a lot of cash fast!
It's not generally possible to grind for infinite money in RE4 Remake, but there are plenty of tricks for scraping together extra pesetas and making your on-hand cash go further. If you're saving for that shiny, shiny rocket launcher, try following the tips below!
Fight Every Enemy
Almost every enemy in the game drops loot when they die; ammo, healing items, and of course pesetas are all fairly common drops. The first way to maximize your income in RE4 Remake is to clear every room of foes. This might be easier said than done, especially if you're low on supplies, but as long as you don't waste ammo you'll usually break even on gear after a fight.
Enemy loot is semi-randomized; for example, they'll only drop ammo for weapons that Leon is currently carrying, and you're more likely to get Green Herbs if Leon's health is low. However, you can almost always expect a handful of enemies in each group to drop cash. Elites, like Brutes and Regeneradors, go one step further and usually drop gems!
Smash Every Barrel And Crate
Once you've cleared the enemies out of an area, your next step should always be to methodically check every corner for smashabl🌱e crates, barrels, and vases. These always contain useful items, usually a mix of ammo and cash.
These destructible objects are easy to spot, as they're usually splashed with bright yellow paint. It's not uncommon for them to be destroyed during a fight, but don't worry - their contents will be intact and ready to collect when the battle is over!
Shoot The Crows
An Easter egg from the original game is intact in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Frequently throughout the campaign, you'll encounter small flocks of crows upon entering a new area. These big black birds will fly away as Leon approaches, but they're for more than just effect - most of the game's crows will drop cash, ammo, or even gems when shot.
You can usually hear crows before you see them, so whenever there's a raspy caw in the distance, move slowly forward and be ready to open fire. Go for crows at ground level first, as birds in areas that you can't reach won't drop anything useful. When the crows take flight, try to down them over the main path so that you can collect their loot.
Equip The Right Charms
By winning challenges in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Shooting Gallery (or by finding Tokens hidden around the map if you have the Deluxe Edition) you can earn randomized Charms from the capsule machine in the Merchant's Hideouts. Equipping them to your attache case at a typewriter will unlock different buffs, including item discounts!
Before speaking to the Merchant, it's a good idea to use the typewriter (he always has one nearby) to swap out your Charms for maximum savings. The Charms that will earn you money are:

Sell Everything You Don't Need
The Merchant offers good prices on nearly anything. If you find an item that isn't part of your strategy, don't be afraid to sell it. That goes double for weapons, which take up a lot of inventory space and sell for a lot of money; besides you can always buy weapons back later.
If you've invested a lot of money into upgrading a weapon, don't worry. You'll be refunded for any upgrades that a weapon has when you sell it, allowing you to quickly enhance its replacement. If you buy the weapon back, though, you'll have to upgrade it again from scratch.
Buy The Treasure Maps
The Merchant offers Treasure Maps of each of the game's three areas for only a few Spinels. Unless you've memorized the location of every Treasure in the game, these are well worth the price on every playthrough. Every Treasure that you leave behind is essentially giving up on m🍸ore pesetas, after all!
Most Treasures are exclusively for selling, and will net you thousands, or even tens of thousands, of pesetas each! Some T♔reasures have sockets that you can inlay with gems to increase their value. Speaking of which...
Match Gem Colors Whenever Possible
When a Treasure is inlaid with gems, the total value of the combined items receives a multiplier, letting you sell them for more than you would get if you sold them individually. The bonus depends on the colors of the gems that you use.

The Elegant Crown is the only treasure in the game with five gem slots. While the multiplier for inlaying it with five multicolored gems is slightly higher, you'll get more money if you inlay the Elegant Crown with two Yellow Diamonds and three Red Beryls since those gems are the m🐻ost valuable. Doing it this way will net you roughly ten thousand additional pesetas!
