Some characters are fairly nice to play with, whilst others are a progression nightmare. This minigame is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:an optional side-mission you can play even without finishing or starting tꦓhe main story. It’s a great way to try out some of the other characters from the original video game and to get your hands on the Headcannon.

4 🧜 Luis Serra - The Weakest Of The Bunch

Luis Sera with the Red9 in Resident Evil 4 Remake: The Mercenaries

A loudmouthed hot-blooded Spaniard, Serra is a force to be reckoned𝐆 with every time you greet him in-game. He’s also an impressive researcher who was actually the head of🔜 the Science Department responsible for studying Las Plagas.

With his introduction out of the way, the Mercena♑ries mini-game DLC lets you play as him and demands you to unlock the character by managing to get an A rank or hi😼gher with Leon. Killing Ganados is a lot harder than you expect while you’re playing as Luis. You need to adopt a gameplay style that establishes distance from the horde, in order to rack up any kills. If you want to unlock Krauser by any chance, you’re going to have to get pretty good at strategic slaughtering.

It’s going to be a tough uphill battle to earn enough points to progress any further with this character. Luis Serra’s Mayhem Mode ability is being able to plant three dynamite sticks over the course of one charge. Useful for mowing down a horde sure, but considering the moveset at his disposal and lackluster loadout weapons, Serra is one of the hardest Mercenaries characters to play wi💖th as far as close-range combat is concerned.

The only no🦂table weapon at your disposal from his loadout is the SR M1903 equipped with a Biometric Sensor. The gun can help you take down high-risk foes as you traverse through narrow passageways. Mayhem Mode also grants you momentary immortality and can help you out if you mess up and end up surrounded. The Iron Pipe with its large Area of Effect can also be effective if you find the opportunity to pull it off mid-combat.

3 Jack Krauser - Slow Methodical ♋Terror

From a would-be hero to a grandiose tyrant willing to sacrifice everything, Krauser is a complicated character with an interesting past. He’s the culprit who managed to kidnap President Graham’s daughter, Ashley. Over the course of the game, we realize just how 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:complex and interwoven stories in Resident Evil 4 were following the events that transpired in the video🅷 games that came before.

With his rocket-proof blade arm, his Mayhem Mode ability can take down enemies with a line-up straight attack. It's perfect for taking out several threats in one fell swoop regardless of how tough they are. His knife-wielding skills are fairly superior to the other characters you can play as, and he gains a time bonus for every individual he executes with one. His knives are also more durable, plus his loadout ain’t too shabby either.

The EJF-338 Compound Bow he carries allows him to shoot explosive arrows that deal significant damage to weaker enemies. Although you'll mostly be relying on your knife since it deals good damage and keeps a combo streak you've got going intact. The monster arm is great for taking out shielded foes but as far as speed is concerned, it takes Krauser a while to recharge his Mayhem Mode ability and build up a solid attack. He walks fairly slow compared to Leon, yet slays on any map regardless.

The TMP is a great way to stagger multiple enemies and perform a melee Roundhouse Kick, but his walk and animation speed is far too low to capitalize on any such moments. Instead, you're just left slashing away at enemies after getting attacked.

2 Leon Kennedy - As Mid As It Gets 💧

A close up of Leon in Resident Evil 4's remake.

The titular protagonist of at least three different games of the series, Leon Kennedy is a powerhouse capable of inflicting high amounts of damage and is a competent 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:character who can handle c🗹lose-range combat better than any of the others you’ll play as in Mercenarie🌟s mode.

Whilst his Mayhem Mode ability grants him a short burst of speed and damage buffs, his greatest draws are the melee moves he’s able to perform. Moves🎀 like his iconic Roundhouse Kick and the Suplex. He’s also pretty solid with the Stingray that boasts a High Power Scope capable of letting you target enemy weak points in order to penetrate and deal significa♒nt damage.

Since Leon is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:an unkillable phenom, he’s as balanced as it can get and starts off with a loadout that’s actually viable enough and makes playing the game mode feels a lot easier when compared to the other choices you have. His shotgun is one of the most broken weapons to utilize for striking down shielded mobs and Plagas at close-range. They get staggered, and most weaker enemies get blown away with a single shot. Leon's fast and agile enough to navigate through the map at a decent pace and take advantage of stunning his enemies.

The Riot Gun, Combat Knife, and SG-09 R are excellent combinations of weapons that can inflict a considerable amount of damage without much trouble. You can execute a combo streak by using your Mayhem Mode only when you've lined up a ton of enemies and intend to take them out in one precise go.

1 Hunk - With A Loadout That’s Ju🥃nk 🌜

HUNK kills Doctor Salvador in Resident Evil 4 Remake: The Mercenaries

A complicated character with a hidden pasꦐt, this forme𒐪r virus transporter turned rogue villain is capable of one-shotting all sorts of enemies just through melee fights alone. Unfortunately, not much is known of his past beyond some rudimentary things contributing to a fairly cryptic backstory.

Playing with Hunk is as simple as it gets, but that convenience comes with its own caveats. As overpowered as his Mayhem Modes ability to shoot infinite amounts of ammo is, he’s still a large clunkꦺy guy with barely any health to work with. So unless you’re good at this game, there’s no chance you can survive well enough to get an A rank (at least not on your first try).

This character also features his own unique melee moves🐈et that allows him to execute his enemies with a kick or Palm Strike. Bear in𓄧 mind though, he will be able to practically one-shot some very tough enemies. Just keep him away from any horde trying to surround him and spray and pray all the ammo you can during the Mayhem Mode’s activation period.

He’s kind of slow an෴d sometimes janky, but his skillful execution capabilities make him a viable cha𒀰racter to play with.
