168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Resident Evil franchise has been scaring the tar out of gamers since its incept🔥ion in 1996. Even though the series has gone through som🎃e tough times, it has always remained a part of the gaming conversation for the 25 years of its existence. Despite the extreme fright it induces, a significant part of the games also cause us to laugh uncontrollably.
For the most part, it is purely unintentional. None of the entries below are meant to disparage the legendary games. Despite the♛ hilarity, the games are still magnificent and we are extremely excited for Resident Evil: Village coming out on May 7th.
10 Dialogue
The writing quality in video games has improved immensely since 1996, but even by the standards of the time, Resident Evil's dialogue was hilarious. The voice acting did not help matters, either. If you thought it was a translation issue, you'd be surprised to hear that no Japanese voice track exists. The dialogue and writing were mostl🗹y lackluster and chuckle-inducing until Resident Evi🐻l 7 and ♛the recent remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, which sport impress✅ive performances.
9 Jump Scaꦓres
For the most part, Resident Evil succeeds in terrifying gamers. It is not on the same level as the ps༒ychological frights of Silent Hill, but the creature designs and atmosphere are unsettling. However, sometimes the frights are more funny than terrifying. Jump scares are the worst type of terror. While they are extremely effective in Resident Evil, there is nothing funnier than watching somebody jump൩ out of their seat after dogs jump through glass windows.
8 Costumes
If we weꦍre Jill Valentine and knew zombies spread the T-virus through bites, 🍸the last thing we'd wear is a skirt exposing our legs and a top leaving our shoulders completely bare. Maybe it was an extremely warm evening in Raccoon City. Her outfit in Resident Evil 3's remake is a little more pragmatic. In addition to the main outfits, the bonus costumes also give us joy. Ashley's suit of armor in Resident Evil 4 is endlessly memorable.
7 Co-Op
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 5 introduced cooperative play. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 6 ran with the idea and 𒉰eventually the ❀spin-off Resident Evil: Revelations 2 had an asymmetrical angle to it. Even when a game is serious, one cannot help but laugh when getting up to co-op antics.
Even though Resident Evil 5 upset some fans, play♋ing it with a friend is both hilarious and the ideal way to play. Resident Evil 6 is a harder bargain, though one could argue the whole game is unintentionally hilarious.
6 🦋 Ashley Graham
Ashley Grah⛎am is often seen as the worst part of Resident Evil 4. Many fans hated escorting her through the environment. Most take out their grievances on her by cracking jokes about her c﷽haracter and the way she yells out Leon's name. At the end of the day, there are significantly worse escort se♏gments in the medium. Once you earn the knight of armor bonus costume, you do not have to worry about her being killed or carried away by enemies.
5 ಌ Resident Evil 2's Ending
Resident Evil 2 is often considered the best of the classic series formula along with the Resident Evil remake. This does not save it from having one of the silliest endings of any video game. While walking through the desert, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Leon turns to the camera and says "it's up to us to take out Umbrella." Immediately after,🌌 an epic guitar and bass riff kick in as the credits start. It is so ridiculous and joyful that one cannot help but smile.
4 ♛Old Graphics 👍
Gaming graphics age faster than most other media, unfortunately. Even though the older games are still extremely scary, many may find the graphics on the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:original PlayStation quaint and k♌ind of funny. Those low polygon z๊ombies still have the power to terrify someone thanks to the limited resources and atmosphere. Anyone laughing at Resident Evil's graphics has to remembe🅰r that their favorite games will look just as ugly one day and kids will similarly be laughing about it.
3 Re🃏sident Evil: Village's Absurd Naming Convention
So what are we supposed to call it: Resident Evil: Village or Resident Evil 8: Village?𝔍 People will probably just call it Resident Evil 8 when talking about it. Capcom should really throw fans a curveball and call the next gam🅷e in the franchise Resident Evil 8.
༒If they stick with the same naming convention, they have to find a prominent subtitle wit🌃h the letters "IX" in it. We don't care what it is named as long as it is incredible.
2 ൲ 🤡 Chris's Redesigns
Chris Redfield 𝔉is far fr💛om the first character to receive a redesign, but the dude is barely recognizable as the protagonist from the debut entry. In Resident Evil 5 he is also extremely muscular. We understand the need to stay in shape in a world where biological weapons are rampant, but his muscle mass just seems like it slows him down. Let us also not🎶 forge💜t about the time he literally punched a boulder out of the way.
1 Mr.💜 X's Fedorꦍa
Mr. X in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 2's remake is absolutely terrifying. The way he dynamically follows you through the map adds a new layer of fright unseen in the original. However, his look is pretty silly, especially the fedora. We would not laugh if he was charging towards us, however. According to the developers, he wears the Fedora to help him blend in because a 7-foot tall dude with grey skin won't stand out as long as he has a hat on.
