That's already four possible remakes, but Requiem puts forward another contender: an ꦜobscure multiplayer spin-off from 20 years ago.

RE9 follows the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft, one of the few survivors to have escaped Raccoon City. Don’t worry if you’ve never heard of her. Alyssa only feature❀d in Outbreak, the series' first co-op game. Given that it sold just one million copies, most fans will probably recognise the name Ashcroft, if at all, from a news report in Resident Evil 7 — she’s hardly what you’d call a familiar face.

But with the Ashcrof꧋ts being a pivotal part of Requiem, it stands to reason that Capcom would bring Outbreak back to acquaint new fans with their history. Maybe it'll be a smaller remake bundled with Requiem like RE:Verse or Resistance. Or maybe it'll just be a remaster. Either way, it's another ♔possible candidate.
