Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil Resistance are fastly approaching their respective releases, but it appears the open beta for Resident Evil Resistance has run into some development issues.
According to Capcom's webpage for , the asymmetrical multiplayer game's open beta will be slightly delayed due to "technical issues." The delay will be affecting the Pl♈ayStation 4 and PC versions of th♕e game, however, while Xbox One users will still be able to participate in the open beta at its scheduled date.
Capcom apologizes for the delay but concludes its update by expressing gratitude for the patience of its fans and Resident Evil players.
Currently, the open beta's av🌸ailability on Xbox One is sche🎉duled for one week, starting from 3:00 AM EDT today, March 27, until 3:00 AM EDT on Friday, April 3.
Although fortunate for Xbox One users, this may come as a disappointment to PS4 and PC players. While Resident Evil Resistance is seemingly overshadowed by the Resident Evil 3 remake currently, any taste of anything new Resident Evil is greatly appreciated among fans.
Of course, since this is for technical issues, perhaps the slight delay is for the best. Delays are never delights. However, they do give developers time to polish games to the extent they can, so players may ultimately benefit in the end from the extra time Resident Evil Resistance on PS4 and PC gets worked on.

As it stands, Resident Evil 3 is set to release April 3 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It is a retelling of the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis released in 1999. Although the game wasn't as large a hit as the original Resident Evil or Resident Evil 2, the game enhanced the Mr. X mechanic from Resident Evil 2 to a large degree. Hopefully, Resident Evil 3's remake follows in the footsteps of Resident Evil 2's remake from 2019, which turned out to be a massive hit and one of the b🐎est remakes of all time.
