168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil is one of the oldest horror gaming series. When you look at a series like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead Space, there are ওonly four m𒉰ain installments if you count the remake as a separate entry. Resident Evil, on the other hand, started in 1996 and, as such, has dozens of both mainline titles and spinoffs.

With that many games, there's bound to be plenty of Easter eggs. Many of them became iconic in their right to the RE series and have been in more than one entry. A lot of the great Easter eggs are referential to other Capcom or RE titles and can be a bit on the wackier side.

10 𒆙 Resident Evil 4 Classic:🔯 Other Capcom References

The Killer7 magnum weapon in Resident Evil 4.

The original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 4 featured many references to other Capcom games, specifically other projects worked on by Shinji Mikami. Killer7, Suda51's breakout game, is referenced in two main ways. The first is that there's a magnum called Killer7. The name isn't the only reference, as even the official Killer7 logo is on the gun itself.

After unlocking the Handcannon and equipping it, Leon has a very distinct stance in the inventory menu. That's because his stance is a nod to Dan Smith, another character from Killer7 who holds the gun behind his left shoulder. One last interesting note is that all five special music tracks in the Mercenaries are reused from Shinji Mikami's PN03, another Capcom GameCube title.

9 Resident Evil 2 ꦏClassic: Zombie Brad

Zombie Brad near the police station in the original Resident Evil 2.

When looking at the original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 2, there's not a lot of big nods to RE1. One of the more notable is zombified Brad. During the first part of the game, you can't pick up any items until you get to the Police Station. Once there, at the lower underpass, is zombie Brad. He is a total tank to kill, so it is advised to return once you get the shotgun.

Once killed, he drops a special🌊 key that opens a locker in the dark room. Leon gets two costumes, while Claire only gets one but obtains a special Colt handgun. This was a nice Easter egg at the time, but little did everyone know that this would be canonical, as Brad gets killed off in the same place in RE3, which takes place earlier.

8 Resident Evil 3 Classic: Dario's End

Dario shutting the door to the container from the original Resident Evil 3.

One aspect that the original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 3 did better than the remake was the interconnectivity. There are quite a few secrets you would never even think to do, and the one with Dario is the most striking. Return to the beginning warehouse when you backtrack to the starting area to use the fire hose. This is where Dario locked himself in, but now it's revealed he left the container and has been eaten by zombies.

Looking inside the newly opened compartment,, there are a few items and Dario's Memo, which add more detail to his story. It's quite a shocking secret because you would never even think to go back there. It's not like there was a locked door or some sign you should return. It's purely for those curious, making it much more effective.

7 ꦡ Resident Evil 4 And 5: Sitting Down 🥃

Chris sitting down in the captain's chair near the end of Resident Evil 5.

An awesome Easter egg in both RE4 and 5 is sitting down in a chair. It's a really neat moment in RE4 because the prompt to sit is just a question mark. Then Leon will sit on the villain's throne nonchalantly and say it's no time for resting. It's funny, but it returned in RE5 not once but twice.

In chapters 5-3 and 6-3, after listening to the opening dialogue, both Chris and Sheva can sit in the lead chair. Doing it in co-op makes it even more amusing. The usage in RE4 alone makes it great, but add in that it returned in RE5, and it's undoubtedly one of the best RE Easter eggs.

6 Reside✃nt Evil 7: Outbreak Callback

The newspaper article done by Alyssa in Resident Evil 7.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 7 was, in a sense, a soft reboot, with only one notable character returning and only in the ending. In the readable files, however, there is a nice callback to one of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the better RE spin-offs, Outbreak. The Newspaper Article - Over 20 Missing file describes a news report of the dozen people missing in ♋the Loui💝siana area.

In the end, it's revealed the article was written by Alyssa Ashcroft, one of the playable characters in Outbreak. That game hardly, if ever, gets referenced, so it's nice to see a callback here, especially since RE7 is light on references to begin with.

5 Resident Evil 6: Pꦚlaওyground

Piers going down the slide from Resident Evil 6.

The playground is not only the best Easter egg in RE6 but one of the iconic parts🌱 of the game for the RE community. This small area can be used by Chris, Piers, and Ada, and all three have unique animations here.

Piers rides the slide head and arms first in a radical way. Chris can ride on the swinging panda and slide in a surfer style. Then Ada simply rides the slide the normal way. It's one of the most charming parts of RE6, and you just have to do it whenever you replay the game.

4 𓂃 Resident Evil 5: Fixed Camera Angles

The fixed camera angle easter egg in Resident Evil 5.

Lost in Nightmares was the first DLC for Resident Evil 5 and offered a more classic feel. Tons of callbacks to the first game were present, including the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:infamous itchy tasty memo. However, one nice Easter ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚegg that definiteꦕly elevated the experience was the return of fixed camera angles.

The entrance that you arrived in can be checked three times, and once you do that, the classic camera angles re-emerge. The controls are even the same with the tank movement. This lasts for the entire first area and is an awesome throwback, considering that style wasn't even 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in indie horror games at the time.

3 ๊ Code Veronica: 🐎DIJ

DIJ's diary found in the battle game of Resident Evil Code Veronica.

Here's an Easter egg from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil - Code: Veronica that's bound to turn heads. In the battle game, there's an addition casino area with some much-needed supplies. If you check the slot machine, often you'll come across DIJ's diary. It describes many important story moments in the campaign, but as you read, you'll eventually realize that the writer is actually a rat.

To boot, if you go back into the core game, DIJ actually appears six times, but you'll never notice most of them without a keen eye. It's a complex Easter Egg that involves the entire game and not just one memo, which is why it's so special.

2 Resident 🥂Evil 2: Tofu

A lineup of tofu holding guns and wearing hats

Probably the most iconic Easter egg in all of Resident Evil is the Tofu mode. In order to unlock the Tofu Survivor in the classic RE2, you need to beat and A rank six scenarios in a row, which is very unorthodox. The mode's for experts only, as you only have a knife.

However, the Tofu speaks in Japanese, and its unique changing model truly 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:makes it one-of-a-kind in the classic games. The RE2 remake upped the charm even higher, with it looking more realistic and having five total Tofus to play as. With its pure fun nature and wacky quality, Tofu is tied to RE2, and the game wouldn't be the same without it.

1 🔯 Resid🦹ent Evil 2: Photo D

The Rebecca Chambers basketball photo in both the original Resident Evil 2 and its remake.

While Tofu is the most iconic RE Easter egg, the best has to be Photo D from both RE2 and its remake. In the original, you can check Wesker's desk in the S.T.A.R.S. office, and, if you do this 50 times, you'll get a film. In the remake, you'll eventually open Wesker's desk for a side objective, and hidden with no button prompt is that same film roll. Amazingly, both games have it hidden well, but in two different ways.

Once developed, there will be a photo of Rebecca Chambers in a basketball uniform. It's hilarious for Wesker to have this hidden in his desk, almost in shame, and very uncommon in the series. This egg is so well remembered that Rebecca's Basketball outfit got included as a costume in Resident Evil 0 remastered.
