It should be obvious based on what happened with the remake of Resident Evil 2, but there are a lot of things different about this version of Resident Evil 3. Some things got changed around to make the whole thing make more sense which is a plus for🍸 the lore. On the other hand, there are some th෴ings changed that make less sense.

In fact, some could even impact the future of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil through retcons. Rather than focus on what’s missing, though, this article will primarily focus on how everything in the remake changed the outcome of the PS1 original in 10 distinct ways.🍎 And yes, there🀅 are spoilers!

10 Nemesis Shows Up In The Beginning

In the original game, Jill breaks out of building and runs away from zombies to head back to a warehouse where she is staying with Dario Rosso. Her goal is to rescue civilians, whereupon she eventually meets Nemesis at𓄧 the RCPD station.

This version kicks things off with a literal bang, having Nemesis there from the get-go. Also while Rosso is in the game, Jill does not seem to know this version. For that matter, Jill seems like a completely different person than the Capcom original.

9 Carlos Oliveira Accidentally Causes A Time🌌 Paradox

Carlos i🧔s also introduced much earlier, but that’s not the strangest part of the lore twist. In the original game, Carlos is playable once Jill gets infected at the clock tower wherein he then heads to the hospital for an antidote.

While he eventually goes there for the same reason, minus the clock tower altogether, players can take control of him to explore the RCPD station prior to this. This retcons the previous remake, considering Carlos can open safes and lockers that are supposed to be locked in Resident Evil 2 for Leon and Claire.

8 Raccoon City Now Has A Subway

It never really made sense for Raccoon City to have a trolley system. Granted, most of the architecture wa⛦s destroyed so it was hard to tell.

That being said, from what one could gather in the second and third games, originally, it didn’t look like it supported a t🥀rolle♋y rail. Having a subway be in this remake makes a lot more sense.

7 No More Gem Puzzles

There were a lot of puzzles from the original game that were either taken out or reworked completely in the r🔯emake. For example in the original, Jill had to collect gems for a clock, which then opened a gate to a new part of the city.

While the gems are still in the remake, they now unlock extra gear. Come to think of it, it always was weird to have the city gated off by a puzzle like that. Getting rid of puzzles like this makes the city seem less like a Zelda dungeon and more like a genuine place of b🍸usiness.

6 Nemesis Has More Powers

Nemesis goes through more changes than in the original, as seen in all of his evolved forms. The last form is especially out ෴there. Perhaps the strangest new “power” of his is the fact he can reanimate t♋he dead by injecting them with his own parasite.

These are known as NE-α Types. They look and behave much like Las Plagas in Resident Evil 4. Maybe this🌱 means something for that game’s event🍒ual reboot.

5 And Then Brad Vickers Was A Zombie

Speaking of Nemesisꦗ, Brad met his untimely end by getting beaten up by him in the original game. This buys Jill some time to get away.

In the remake, however, he just gets eaten by zombies and becomes one himself. While he could be seen in Resident Evil 2 as a zombie and coul🦩d be taken ou🅺t by the player, in this remake Carlos puts him down. All in all, Brad gets dunked on pretty hard.

4 Raccoon Park Has Been Removed

Raccoon Park has been completely removed from the remake, along with the aforementioned clock tower. The events at said tower were at least reorganized. Every♔thing that happens at the park has not been retooled for this remake though.

The biggest thing that happens there is an encounter with a giant worm known as Grave Digger🐓. It seemed like a silly encounter in the original, but it still remains iconic and is now out of the canon.

3 Of Hospitals & Sewers

Another change comes in the sewer and hospital. The sewer now appears much earlier in the game and is just that: a sewer. In the original game, it is t🃏he final area that leads to the underground Umbrella facility.

In this version, NEST is located under the hospital. A hospital that, in the original, blows up completely. This time around Carlos just blows up a💫 pillar to block the entrance.

2 Tyrell Patrick Is Now A Real Character

More so than Brad, Tyrell was bare💜ly in the original. Jill can find him just before Nikolai tries to finish him off, claiming he was about to turn into a zomb🔴ie. In fact, he doesn’t even have a speaking role!

Along with Carlos, Tyrell has a much bigger role in the remake and even helps Jill infiltrate NEST. He still gets an untimely end thanks to Nemesis this time, s🅠eemingly taken Brad’s place from the original, but at least he was actually a character.

1 Nikolai (Supposedly) Dies In The End

Based on the play♓er's decisions, the canon ending has Jill and Carlos being stranded as Nikolai escapes with the last helicopter. After they defeat Nemesis and the missile for Raccoon City is about to hit, a lone helicopter comes out of nowhere to rescue them. It’🤡s Barry, even though💧 he should have absolutely no idea where she is.

Barry’s role this time is delegated to a phone call in the intro and nothing more. In the remake’s end, Ca🥂rlos and Jill battle Nikolai for the last helicopter before stranding him to seemingly die in the blast.
