It feels good to experience everything a game has to offer, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil Village is no exception. Something about getting the platinum🌱 trophy or final achievement for a game really gets that dopamine flowing. That said, the definition of “completing a game 100%” differs from person to person. To some, it just means completing all the achievements or trophies. To others, it means completing every in-game challenge.

You'll Be Playing Through The Game A Bunch

Resident Evil Village -An Example Of The Number Of Playthroughs You Might Need For 100 Percent

Sounds a bit obvious, but people should know ahead of time that if you liked RE8's story, that's good, because you'll be experiencing it over and over. Sometimes, you'll be playing on harder difficulties, but most 💙of the time you'll be on Casuꦇal for a variety of reasons.

Some people will be able to get 100% done in three or fewer runs, but on average it 💯takes about four or five.

There's More To Collect Than You Might Think

Resident Evil Village -One Of The Ball Puzzles, A Fully Completed Combinable Treasure, And A Goat Of Warding

Resident Evil Village has a lot of different things to collect, so, if you’re trying to “c☂ollect” everything in the game, you’ll need to know:

  • All the Goats of Warding locations
  • All the Gemstone locations
  • All the combinable Treasures locations
  • All the Weapon locations
  • All the Animal locations
  • All the Puzzle Ball Locations
  • All the Named Treasure locations

You’ll Have To Fully Upgrade Every Weapon

Resident Evil Village -Upgrading The M1911 To Max

To get all the best weapons from the Extra Content shop, you’ll have to fully upgrade each and every weapon in the game. This unlocks the ability to buy different guns🐼 or even infinite amm⛦o for old weapons. What this means is:

  • You'll have to dedicate entire runs to buying and upgrading one or two weapons, as the unlockable ones have some expensive add-ons.
  • You’ll have to go back and upgrade old weapons you either sold or forgot about long ago.
  • You’ll have to sell already-completed guns to Duke, as your attache case can’t even come close to holding all of the weapons you can find and/or buy.

You Will Need To Play A Lot Of Mercenaries Mode

Resident Evil Village -Getting A SSS Rank In Mercenaries

If you’re trying to do everything in RE8, you will need to get good at the Mercenaries Mode. This iteration of the more arcade-like style of combat has ༒been polarizing for fans of Village.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Some people adore it and wa⛄nt moﷺre games like it, while a large porꦡtion of players really seem to hate it. T𝓡hat said, it's still absolutely required to unlock certain weapons in the Extra Content shop.

Completing All The Challenges Won't Be Easy

Resident Evil Village - The Challenge Screen, Fully Completed

It seems a bit obvious, but the Challenges are a pretty foundational ♛part of Village’s content past the first run, and there are quite a lot oꦅf them. What you need to know about them to save time towards 100% completion is, of course:

  • You can't finish them all in a single run.
  • You can’t return to the Beneviento Dollhouse, the Dimitrescu Castle, Salvatore's Reservoir, or Heisenberg's Factory after you leave them. Something about168澳洲幸运5开奖网: beating the mysterious Lord each zone is tied to just locks them off for the rest of time.
  • Mercenaries Mode kills apply to Challenges as well, most importantly the ones that need a certain amount of kills.
  • Infinite Ammo and overpowered weapons like the S.T.A.K.E still work for (most) of them.

You’ll Need To Tailor Specific Runs To Specific Objectives

Resident Evil Village -Fighting Urias With Just A Knife In The Knife Run

There’🎉s just no way around it, you’re going to have to tailor entire runs to certain tasks. There are some places the tasks will overlap and you can work on both in the same run, but not all of them. Somﷺe examples are:

  • A run focused on collecting all the Goats of Warding, as some you can’t backtrack to get.
  • The infamous "knife-only run" for the Knives Out Challenge.
  • The Boss Time-Trial challenges (Sashimi, Blitzkrieg, Lady Killer, or Hide and Seek Master) can overlap with another run, as long as it's on Casual. Once you master these, t🌼he game can be completed in almost no time at 💮all.
  • Gathering Lei for Gun upgrades.
  • Cleaning up random challenges like the ten Outhouses, all the breakable windows in the Dimitrescu Castle, and so on.

It’ll Take A Lot Of Fun Out Of The Game

Resident Evil Village -Lady Dimitrescu Looking Like Shes Having Absolutely No Fun

Lastly, you should know ahe🎉ad of time that trying to wring every last bit of content out of RE8 will also almost a🍸ssuredly wring all the fun out of the game for you as well. It'll be a different time for each player as to when exactly the game will grow tiring, whether it's your second run or your fifth, but it will happen, and here's why:

  • Once you get infinite ammo for guns that are already overpowered, combat becomes more of a chore than an integral part of the game, though it is still fun for a while.
  • Boss fights, especially, become more about exploiting♛ their AI than anything else.
  • Grinding kills in Mercenaries for certain challenges means you’ll be running the same levels over and over, even if you’ve already SSS-ranked them.
  • You start to see how a lot of the best moments of the game are a bit less impactful than they seemed on the first run.
  • The introduction section is almost torturously slow and unnecessary after the second time.
  • And there are just so many cutscenes to skip!

Overall, it’s a big tas♑k to 100% Resident Evil Village. But, knowing some of the more annoying aspects of it ahead of time should make it easier, or at the very least incentivize you to plan this process out a bit more.
