Resident Evil VIII: Village has finally been revealed to the world and fans won't be waiting long for more information, as more will be divulged about the game during Summer Game F🌠est on Twit▨ch.

A number of video game events were planned for summer 2020, but COVID-19 has resulted in all of them being canceled or delayed until further notice. These include events li🏅ke E3 and the Tokyo Game Show. There have also been rumors that all planned Nintendo Directs have been canceled for the remainder ౠof the year, though this has yet to be confirmed. As a result, many companies are resorting to digital streaming events for game announcements, including Summer Game Fest on Twitch, which is being put together by Geoff Keighley of The Game Awards.

Resident Evil VIII: Village was announced at the PS5 reveal event, following months of rumors and speculation🌸. All we have seen so f🎐ar is a brief trailer for the game, but we won't have to wait long to find out more, as the RE_Games Twitter account has confirmed that more information will be revealed about the game during Summer Game Fest.

It's unclear exactly when more information will be revealed about Resident Evil VIII: Village, as a number of events are taking place during Summer Game Fest. Resident Evil VIII: Village is coming to PC, so it's entirely possible that it could make an appearance at tomorrow's PC Gaming Show. There are also unannounced events meant for July and August where the gam꧅e could appear instead.

Resident Evil VIII: Village appears to be combining the first-person horror of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard with the secluded village setting of Resident Evil 4. It could be the game we're most excited for that was announceꦚd at the PS5 reveal event and we can't wait to learn more about the new world ofꦏ survival horror that is coming to the next generation of systems.
