Despite going into detail on every other stance that's going to be in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Respawn is still being str🍌angely coy about the Blaster sta🐼nce.
One of the worst-kept secrets in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (which, in itself is one of gaming's worst-kept secrets of the last few years) is that Cal Kestis is going to follow in Han Solo's footsteps and have a good blaster by his side this time around. This was first teaꦛsed with the blaster appearing at his side in the reveal trailer, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:bꦯefore being spotted on a Cal Kestis t♉oy, and 168澳洲幸运🔯5开奖网:then finally being confirmed by Respawn.
You'd think that since Respawn has officially confirmed that the "Blaster stance" is going to appear in Jedi: Survivor, it'd be showing it off alongside the other revealed movesets, but that's not the case. and explaining how they all differ from one another, the Blaster stance is mentioned towards the end, but no gameplay footage of it is shown off and very little information is given about what it actually is.
The main takeaway from the little bit of information we got is that the Blaster stance won't change Jedi: Survivor from being a melee game, and will instead encourage players to combine melee attacks with some range, with game director Stig Asmussen calling it a "melee gun". It seems that it'll work in tandem with the lightsaber so that Cal can shoot and then move in close when he needs to.
We may not have seen gameplay of the Blaster stance, but Asmussen did go into a bit of detail on how Respawn thought to give Cal a new weapon. Asmussen said, "We thought it'd be something that reflects the journey Cal is going through to do something that's unconventional, something that's usually frowned upon for a Jedi".
Outside of the mysterious Blaster stance, we did get to see more gameplay of Cal's crossguard stance, which will seemingly let him dropkick his enemies. The stance also doesn't course correct for the player, meaning they'll need to be absolutely sure that the attacks they make are going to connect.
