Space is a dangerous place. Earth is, too, as are the corporations that sent you shuttling off into the unknown only to lay you off once you woke up. That's a pretty big societal threat, but the various vicious alien creatures of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Revenge of the Savage Planet are posing something of a m🍎ore immediate, existential threat. So you should maybe deal with those first.

For the most part, you can avoid many battles, or even beat them handily with the many tools at your disposal. Some are just a bit bigger. A lot bigger. Wormzilla big. Which is very big. An💦d defeating Wormzilla will take quite a bit of tact. So let's check into destroying this worm and finally retrieving all your gear.

When Is Wormzilla Fought?

The Wormzilla boss being introduced in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

Wormzilla is the very first boss in the game, and you will fight them on the second planet, Xephyr. They are a giant burn that burrows beneath the sand to catch you by surprise. You will see their devious acts as soon as you land on Xephyr. As you approach the container holdin🐼g the Mag Fork, they make it sink beneath the sand. So it becomes y🔯our task to hunt it down.

When you do finally find it and gain the ability to deflect projectiles, you'll have to come face-to-face with Wormzilla. Defeat them here, and they cause the container to sink once again. And yes, that's not the end of Wormzilla either. At the final location in the depths, you will face ꦉoff against Wormzilla one final time, and this time acquire your Mag Fork.

How To Beat Wormzilla

Pointing a gun at wormzilla in revenge of the savage planet.

The Wormzilla fight takes places across multiple phases, though you also fight them twice. The first time you fight them is fairly simple and only has a single phase. As such, we've split the fight into four distinct phases,🌠 with the second fight in the depths beginning at phase two. Each of those phases ar🍷e detailed below.

Phase One

Running from a wormzilla beneath the sand in revenge of the savage planet.

After you've unlocked the ability to deflect projectiles, head on back to where the Mag Fork container has been brought. You must deflect the projectiles from the eꦰggs around the area to summon Wormzilla, and you must then use your deflection ability to defeat Wormzilla itself.

During this section of the fight, Wormzilla has a very limited moveset. They will breathe a beam of fire at you, fire a single projectile, and burrow beneath the sand and chase you, popping out to deal damage to you. All you have to do is deflect those projectiles back at Wormzilla, and dodge the other attacks.

There is a trick to deflection in the game. The closer the projectile is to hitting you, the more accurate your deflection will be. However, the projectile also deflects back at where you're looking, so make sure you're actually looking at Wormzilla when you deflect their attacks. After three or four successful deflections, they will be defeated. Sadly, your Mag Fork gets dragged away onc🍎e again.

Phase Two

Looking at an electric mushroom in revenge of the savage planet.

Before you can access this section of the depths to reach your Mag Fork container, you need to have obtained the Goo Ingestor upgrade for the Water Hose. This requires two parts which are found in purple containers around Xephyr. Once acquired, you can c🙈onstruct it back at base🍎 to allow you to suck up other types of goo, such as Ferrous Goo.

Ferrous Goo is needed to beat this phase of Wormzilla. Once you enter the arena, they will rea🌠ppear. Most of their moves are the same as before, though their fire-breathing attack c🐼an now attack both horizontally and vertically, so make sure you're staying on the move.

Throughout the room there will be plants you can ingest Ferrous Goo from, and multiple electric mushrooms. The goal is to paint the Ferrous Goo from the electric mushroom into a path surrounding Wormzilla. If they walk into the path of the Ferrous Goo, they will be instantly electrified. This will deplete the entire first section of their health b🦂ar, and seemingly defeat them entirely.

Phase Three

Being swallowed by wormzilla in revenge of the savage planet.

After defeating the previous phase of Wormzilla, you will finally be free to acquire the Mag Fork that you have been so desperately searching for. This lets you pick up certain metal objects and fling them around. This ꦿspecifically lets you use the crystallin🎶e pillars you might have seen around the place, such as in Wormzilla's own arena.

However, after picking up the Mag Fork, Wormzilla brings back to life and consumes you. This is the perfect chance to try out your new tool. Inside Wormzilla's stomach are these crystal spikes, which must be fired into the weak points around Wormzilla. After you've destroyed each weak point, Wormzilla will puke you b𒁏ack out, letting you move onto it's final phase.

Phase Four

Wormzilla collapsing in defeat in revenge of the savage planet.

In this final phase, Wormzilla is more aggressive than any previous one, and many of the old tactics no longer work. They wo🐽n't fire projectiles for you to deflect, while the Ferrous Goo will no longer damage them. This section of the fight is reliant entirely on the Mag Fork.

That said, getting Wormzilla to slither into the electrified Ferrous Goo will still stun them temporarily if you need more ꧟time aiming at them.

Around the arena will be more of those crystal pillars you used inside of Wormzilla. Like before, you just have to grab them with the Mag Fork and chuck them right at Wormzilla. The goal is to aim them at the fleshy mouth, which Wormzilla opens periodically to roar. Around three or four of these and, finally, Wormzilla will actually be dꦇefe🔯ated. For real this time.
