Riders Republic has garnered atten𝔍tion and generated hype for its promise of a nature park playg♓round. It offers a vivid recreation of the great outdoors through which you can ride, shred, pull off tricks, even fly.

The Ubisoft game launched on October 28 and appears to be somewhat of a hit. It's even had an effect on another title, causing sales of an extreme sports game to jump. Today, the boss of game publisher No More Robots said on Twitter that Riders Republic has had a big effect on one of the titles they publish.

Descenders is a downhill mountain bike game developed by RageSquid and published by No More Robots. It launched in May 2019 on PC and Xbox One and was ported to PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S as well. It was fairly well received and got a Metacritic score of for the PC version of the game. Reviews noted that levels were procedurally generated, making them different every time. TheGamer 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:reviewed the PS4 port and said Descenders has "qu🐻ite a bit of depth".

"A roguelike mountain biking game is something that I never knew I wanted, ﷽but the roguelike elem🧔ents of Descenders is well-executed and keeps each series of rides feeling fresh," wrote our Sam Watanuki.

But the game didn't appear to set the marketplace alight as Mike Rose seems to be admitting. Since Riders Republic came out sales of Descenders has spiked, with more people buying copies of the game than when Descenders launched, according to its publisher. In a follow-up tweet, Mike Rose said they'd intentionally planned for this:

"We timed a massive update to Descenders with the RR [Riders Republic] launch because we're cheeky fucks, and did a 60% discount sale, the deepest we've done to date and it has gone QUITE WELL FOR US," he .

Timing a discount during the launch of a related game is a good sales strategy and other publishers have often taken this route. Descenders is also on Microsoft's Game Pass subscription but it appears the PC version might be the best version as the publisher's note that the game is "".

Riders Republic, meanwhile, is a bigger and more ambitious game, featuring multiple sports including mountain biking, BMX, snowboarding, skiing, wingsuits and jetsuits. It's about racing and tricks. The developer is Ubisoft Annecy, makers of Steep, so that game's online MMO social feel has influenced Riders Republic, which has a large open world that combines elements of seven US national parks such as Yosemite, Bryce Canyon, and Grand Teton.
