Playing Cold Darkness Awakened requires that you learn to be light on your feet. This isn't a mode to rush through while gunning down baddies. Your main obstacles in completing Cold Darkness (where the end goal is to shut down the research facility) are the new zombified Trinity members. The sight of these enemies is poor, so they rely on sound to locate you. Even walking around while crouching can clue them in on Lara's location, so don't get too close.
Admittedly, this mode could've been a lot better. But the rewards you get for completing Cold Darkness are worth the time spent. Saving all eight prisoners awards you the Voidhammer Shotgun and the Ushanka Camo outfit.

Score Attack is a great place to start for the completionists out there, and you'll probably want to get this part out of the way first. One of the trickiest achievements to unlock is completing every Score Attack level with a gold score. Near-perfection is the only way to get through. There are a few ways to earn points in Score Attack, like collecting the blue wisps planted around the map and shooting the glowing orange lanterns.
While those💝 are the two main ways to earn points, you can also do this by killing enemies, collecting items, and making sure to keep your combo meter. Dodging is also a must since getting hit deducts 350 from your overall score.
