But acquiring this set is a grind in itself. You’ll have to do a lot of travelling and drop a few bodies. This guide will tell you how to get the Assassin Set in Rune✤ Slayer and everything the set brings to the table.
The Assassin Set: Pieces & Stats
Before you begin the grind, here’s a quick look at the three pieces of the Assassin Set and their respective stats:

For each piece, you’ll have to complete a quest. That means you must complete three different quests to get your hands on the Assassin Set. Here's how to get star🐬ted and finish off those quests.
How To Get The Assassin Set
Before you start your quest to acquire the Assassin Set, you’ll need a partner who can use the Earth Wall magic because you’ll need to ‘glitch’ through walls to meet Saegar - the NPC who’ll reward you with the Assassin s൲et as a reward for completing three quests.
Once you find someone with Earth Wall, here’s how you find Saegar.
- Go to the Lakeshire Village and enter the Knight’s Templar.
- Enter the Balgaron Chams. Be careful of the demons.
- Go to the left side of the Balgaron Chams to find an area full of edges.
- Head down and find the Goblin Cave. Once you reach the entrance of the cave, ask your partner to use their Earth Wall magic to help you glitch through the walls and enter the cave.
- After entering the cave, you’ll see an NPC standing in the middle with a question mark above his head. That is Saegar.
Talk to him and he’ll give you the first of three quests- Saegar’s Contract 2 - Kill Krogar. You can find Krogar in the swamp area of the Greatwood Forest. Kill Krogar and return to Saegar to claim Assassin’s Boots.
After you complete the first quest, Saegar’s location will change. To start the second and third quests, you must head to the Ashenshire Village and meet Saegar🐻 at the Thieves Guild.
The second quest will be Saegar’s Contract 3 - Kill Silas. Silas hangs around the Alligator Swamp area. After killing him, head back to Saegar at the Thieves Guild to claim Assassin’s Hood and start Saegar’s Contract 4 - Kill Vaelion.
Vaelion is a guard at Ashenshire, and you can find him standing under the giant vine just outside Ashenshire. Kill him, return to Saegar for the last time and claim Assassin’s Cloak. You 🐷now have the complete Assassin Set in Rune🅺 Slayer.
