Psyonix, the developers of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rocket League, have announced that they're soon to be part of the Epic Games family, with the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fortnite creators set to acquire the studio.

Details regarding the sums behind the deal have been kept under wraps for now but it's quite safe to assume that the game will be pulled from Steam. Rocket League could continue to receive support for gamers who purchased via Steam, however, new players will likely have to head to Epic to get💎 the driving/soccer title as it should become an ex🔯clusive.

"Today is a big day for us here at Psyonix bec🌜ause, just as the headline says, we’re officially joining the Epic Games family," Psyonix an🃏nounced via the on Wednesday.

"Your first question to news like this might be, 'What does this mean for Rocket League and its community?' We’re happy to say that the answers are only positive. Rocket League always has been and always will be a community-driven game, and now that we have joined forces with Epic, we will b𓂃e🦩 able to serve our community in even bigger and better ways!"

Apart from being pulled from Steam, Rocket League should remain pretty much the same. Acc🐽ording to the statement, the decision to sell to Epic was driven by the potential of having🐎 reach and resources amplified.

"We 🥀think this is a great move for the Rocket League Esports ecosystem because it significantly increases our potential reach and resources, just like it does for the game itself," Psyonix added. "We really do believe that you'll find our future in esports to be very exciting -- especially in the near future, where on June 21-23 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) finals will end our 7🦋th season with a bang!"

Epic, which has rapidly expanded due to Fortnite's wild success, claims to have great respect for the Psyonix s♑tudio, the game, and its community.

This acquisition should come as no surprise, given Rocket League's own success and the way the devs have been able to keep their players engaged ཧalbeit releasing the game four years ago.
