Once again, the E3 rumors are rolling in. This time, supposed details for Rocksteady Studios' heavily rumored Superman game h♛ave surfaced. A YouTuber named co🅺mpiled a list of these details:
First, the game will feature an open-world Metropolis. Brainiac will be the antagonist, but it sounds like there will be another big villain. DLC will feature Justice League members, like Wonder Woman, the Flash, Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter. What is really interesting is that this game will lay the groundwork for a Justice League game to be released in 2020.
These alleged details build off a post that appeared on May 30th. In that post, an anonymous user posted claims on the rumored Superman game. According to the post, the game will be shown at Microsoft's E3 conference, with it running on the Xbox One X. The reveal trailer will feature Brainiac, with gameplay showcasing "flying and combat" against some of the villain's drones. The game's site is apparently "supermangame.com." The site is blocked of course, but the user says it will open when the game is revealed. Also, Game Informer's July cover will feature the game. Although, Game Informer's own Andrew Reiner yesterday that he doesn't think "a standalone Superman game is in the works."
In a perfect world, all of these details would be true. There is no fan who wouldn't want to see Rocksteady tackle Superman, and then do a massive Justice League game. But these are just rumors, and it does sound a little too perfect that a Justice League would follow two years later. But, Rocksteady knows that fans have been wanting to see a Superman game from the company for years. The company did fantastic work on the Batman: Arkham games. Arkham City is in the top 100 highest rated games on Metacritic, with a score of 96. The storytelling is engaging, and the gameplay intricate in the Arkham series. If Rocksteady can a𝔍pply these things to the Man of Steel, the result would be phe♛nomenal.

Superman hasn't had much luck in the gaming world. His highest rated game on Metacritic is Shadow of Apokolips, wi☂th a score of 66. Rocksteady can change that. If the game turns out to be true, perhaps we'll hear about it at Microsoft's E3 conference on Sunday.
