So World of Warcraft might finally be coming to console, and that console might be the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 5.

There’s no denying that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:World of Warcraft is one of the biggest games of all time. Dozens of expansions, millions of players, and billions in revenue are all the more surprising due to the fact that World of Warcraft has forever been a PC-only game.

But that might be about to change. A new datamine reveals some interesting lines of code in a recent World of Warcraft updat🃏e that points to the game coming to PlayStation 4 and 5.

This news comes courtesy of Martin Benjamins via . He mentions that a recent update added code for controller support--something that WoW has neverꦕ needed in the past. A subsequent tweet goes further and explicitly states the PS4, PS4 Pro, and PS5 as supported controllers.

"Take with a grain o⛄f salt, this does not show usage," Benjamins cautions." Could be part of a //Battle.net SDK import or something but the DefaultGameP༺adBindings file makes me go [thinking face emoji]."

"For a long time, we’ve seen a small number of players turn to 3rd party add-ons, such as Console Port 17, in order to work through certain accessibility issues,” writes Jordan. “We always want to make WoW more widely accessible, if possible, so in Shadowlands, we’re attempting to add so💖me support f൲or keybinds, camera, and turning a character on controllers such as the Xbox Adaptive Controller.”

While this makes sense, why mention PlayStation controller support if these new supports are for the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Adaptive Controller?

As always, none of this has been confirmed from Blizzard so we can’t take any of it as gospel. Blizzard does have a history of bringing their biggest games to consoles (I’m lookin’ at you, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Diablo 3), so World of Warcraft getting ported to something like the PlayStation 4 makes sense. The PlayStation 5? That seems like a bit of a waste of computational power🤪.
