After that, you can head over to the Autumn village, wherꦍe you'll meet Kai💫 during the first few dialogues near Yachiyo's restaurant.

However, Kai is one of the most travel-loving characters in the game and you'll hardly find him in the same area on different days. While his home is in Autumn village, he leaves the area early in the day quite often.
The best way to find Kai as soon as the day starts is by waiting until it's at least 6:05 AM and then taking a look at the map of different villages. You'll see his icon at the top right in one of these, which will be your destination. If you do this in the first five seconds of the day, he might show his presence in the Autumn village but you won't be ab✱le to find him there.
Kai can usually be found in the Autumn and Winter village, with high chances of him being in the Spring village as well.
