As you progress through the story of , you'll realize that the general gameplay loop is getting to each village and exploring their outskirts until you can progress to the next quest. However, as you're exploring these village✱s, you can sometimes find some side quests with a ton of rewards.

Roll, Roll, Roll Your Onigiri is one such quest,𒅌 and you'll first encounter it while going through the Summer Village. To complete this quest, you have to find a total of six Onigiri spots scatte♑red around the world and submit the right item in them.

Summer Village Onigiri Spot And Solution

The first Onigiri hole you'll find is in the Summer Village, and it's also where you'll initially trigger this quest. To get to it, you first have to continue the village's story until you're sent to the outskirts to look for a certain sword. In the Summer Village outskirts, you'll first go thr𒈔ough the Precipice Beach and Materials St♊orage area.

Head east from both of these areas and you'll soon find a teleport statue near a campfire. As you make your way to the statue, you'll hear the Onigiri song with the spot being marked on your map. Unlock the statue and keep heading up the slope from 🌄there and the quest will automatically t♋rigger, revealing this spot.

You'll meet an NPC in this quest that essentially tells you that the hole wants you to roll Onigiri in it.

If you've not been consuming your food, you'll likely already have a bunch of normal Onigiri in your inventory as they unlock when you're first about to head out to the Spring Village outskirts. You can simply drop one of these Onigiri into theꦜ hole, making the little singers happy, and allowing you t𓄧o continue this quest.

After this scene, the world will get populated with five more such spots, but you'll have to drop a specific type of Onigiri in them according to the singer's demand.

Spring Village Onigiri Spot And Solution

After unlocking the quest in the Summer Village, you can journey back to the Spring Village to find your second Onigiri hole. To get to it, you just have to teleport to the Guardian's Grove statue and then take the path going up on the left side. You'll see the Onigiri icon on the map itself.

This spot will ask you for the Grilled Miso Onigiri, which is fairly easy to make after you get the recipe. However, to get this recipe, you'll have to reach the hidden island on the southern side of the Summer Village outskirts. Teleport to the statue below Waterfronꦗt Walkway and head directly down the beach to rไeach this island.

You'll need to unlock the Sacred Parasol before you can reach the Frog Statue for this recipe as it's higher up.

After getting the Grilled Miso Onigiri recipe, you can combine one of the normal Onigiri and Miso each to cook it. A good way to get yourself co𝓀nstant Miso is by constructing the building that automatically sends you some every day.

Autumn Village Onigiri Spot And Solution

While you don't have to do these spots in order, it's technically the third one according to the chronology of the villages you visit. You can find this on the outskirts of Autumn Village, but it'll take you quite a while to reach if you follow the main story. You'll first have to go through the Mechanical Maze, do a bit more dialogue, and then your marker will update to the northwestern edge of the Autumn Region.

As you're reaching this area, you'll cross a bridge just above the teleport statue to the east of Pampas Plains. Keep heading north after crossing this bridge and you'll soon hear the Onigiri song coming from behind a clif♉﷽f blocking your way. You'll have to fight quite a lot of enemies around the spot, so be ready for combat.

The enemy level around this Onigiri hole is quite high, so it's recommended to reach it only when the main story asks you to head northwest.

This hole will ask you to drop a fish Onigiri, which is grilled to perfection. The item you're looking for is Salmon Onigiri, but you won't be able to unlock it for quite some time. To get the recipe for it, you first have to continue the Winter Village story until you reach the White Wolf Mountain area. While looking at this area, you'll see a secluded building in white on the northern edge of the map.

Use your Sacred Parasol to get to this building and you can find the recipe by interacting with the Frog Statue here. To make this Oꩲnigiri, you'll also need a Grilled Salmon recipe, which can b🐎e found on a Frog Statue near the pool to the north of the Winter Village outskirts.

Winter Village Onigiri Spot And Solution

As you might already expect, you'll find an Onigiri hole in all four regions, with the Winter Region being the last one. The spot here can be located on the northern side of Winter Village outskirts near the pool to the east. This pool has a rock to its left with a campfire ne👍arby as well, and you can automaticallᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚy get past it by continuing the main story.

This spot will ask for a deep-fried shrimp Onigiri, and the recipes you're looking for are Tempura Onigiri and Shrimp Tempura. Here's how you can find both of these:

• The Shrimp Tempura recipe can be found in the Summer Region on the eastern side as you cross the Hanging Bridge. Head south after crossing the bridge and you'll see the Frog Statue with this recipe, which is required to make the Tempura Onigiri.
• Tempura Onigiri's recipe itself can only be found within the White Wolf Mountain, which once again requires you to progress the story. In this area, you'll find it by interacting with a big Frog Statue to the north.

After getting both the items, you can combine Onigiri and Shrimp Tempura at any cooking spot. You'll have to in🐬teract with the fishing mechanic to get yourself a Shrimp in the first place.

Skies Of Azuma Onigiri Spot And Solution

After getting past all four regions in the main story, the first barrier around the Skies of Azuma will lift and you'll be able to get through the Dawnbreak Island. You can find this Onigiri spot near the teleport statue of this island, and it asks for the Bonito Flake Onigiri.

You might already have this recipe as you can find it by interacting with the Frog Statue just above the teleport statue in the Vast Plateau area of the Spring Region. It'll require you to get Preserved Bonito and Soy Sauce, which yo♐u can pass♐ively get as you explore different areas of the game and interact with various pots.

Heavenly Realm Onigiri Spot And Solution

The final Onigiri hole can be found in The Heavenly Realm area of Rune Factory: Guardians Of Azuma, and you'll automatically reach this area by progressing the story. To reach this spot, you f🧔iꦿrst have to get through the first gap in the platforms and reach the other end of the second platform using the Sacred Staff.

To the north of the second platform, you'll find another hidden path going to the right. Follow this path and you can reach the secluded island with the hole. The Onigiri you need for t🐟his is called the Greatest Grilled Onigiri, and it can't be found on a Frog Statue like the rest. Instead, you have to cook it by triggering a unique recipe.

Before you try to make this item, you'll need to reach bond level six with Matsuri, the god of Summer Village.

Once you and Matsuri can cook together, head over to Iroha and go into the cooking menu. Here, look for the Grilled Onigiri and while cooking it, select the "Cook Together" option. This will let you cook the recipe with Matsuri, which💝 giv🍃es you the Greatest Grilled Onigiri that you can then submit in the final hole.

Roll, Roll, Roll Your Onigiri Rewards

When you submit the correct Onigiri in any of the six spots around the world, they'll spawn a small and a large chest asking you to choose. However, the rewards from these chests don't differ as much as you might think. Both the chests give you the same recipes, but🌳 there is one other item that differs based on your choice.
