The world of Gielinor is finally available to Steam users, as RuneScap🐬e has officially launched on Valve's popular platform. Complementing the launch is the availability of trading cards, achievements, emoticons, badges, and player profile backgrounds – all unlockable just by playing through Steam.

If you're a current RuneScape player but want to take advantage of all the Ste𒐪am collectibles, you can easily link your existing account. All your progress will be ported over, and while playing through the new client you'll be able to pick up all the cool new goodies.

While RuneScape is a free-to-play experience, you'll need to become a member to access all the skills, locations, 🔴and quests available throughout Gielinor. Subscriptions start at $10.99 for a single month, but can be had for as little as $8.34 if you purchase 12 months at a time. Three membership packs are available on Steam as well:

  • Starter Pack ($14.99): One-month membership, 15 Treasure Hunter Keys, Forge Goblin War Hammer
  • Standard Pack ($39.99): Three-month membership, 50 Treasure Hunter Keys, Forge Goblin Outfit, RuneScape Soundtrack: The Orchestral Collection
  • Max Pack ($129.99): 12-month membership, 75 Treasure Hunter Keys, Forge Goblin Outfit, Forge Goblin Mechanical Frog pet, Forge Goblin War Hammer, 2 Cosmetic Tokens, 50 Extra Bank Spaces, Extra Daily Key, RuneScape Soundtrack: The Orchestral Collection

If you're not ready to purchase a membership plan, you can still experience a large portion of RuneScape. Some of the most popular skills – Smithing, Mining, Crafting, and Fishing – are largely available to free players and should give you a good idea as to whether it’s a game that fits your playstyle. RuneScape also offers a handful of free quests, some of which are incredibly detailed and ဣmuch more hands-off than most modern games.

In other Runജe🅰Scape news, the Orthen Dig Site will open up for high-level Archaeology players on October 19. If you're just starting out it's unlikely you'll be able to hit the level 90 requirement to enter by then – but with a bit of efficient skilling you'll be well on your way to earning your first skillcape.
