The official website for a Ukrainian video game appears to be blocked in Russia. According to the (thanks and ), the website has been blocked by the country's Prosecutor General's Office. Stalker 2 is a first-person survival shooter developed by Ukrainian studio GSC Game World. Due to the ongoing invasion, initiated by Russia's leader Vladimir Putin, the studio is reportedly 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:moving its offices to Prague. GSC Game World s🍨topped business operations in Russia last month.
The first Stalker released in 2007 while the follow-up was scheduled for official release for this December. While Russia may have blocked Stalker 2's official website, many members of the games industry have rallied around Ukraine. In fact, companies such as Bandai Namco, The Pokemon Company, Ubisoft, CD Projekt Red, Square Enix, itch.io, Humble Bundle, Epic, Microsoft, and others, have together 168🅷澳洲幸运5开奖网:raised nearly $200 million for Ukraine.
Epic Games and Microsoft's Fortnite efforts took the lead with an incredible $144 million raised for humanitarian aid to Ukraine, with this staggering amount coming from profits made from the game over a four-day period, with Microsoft donating its usual cut made from in-game purchases. Humble Bundle's Stand With Ukraine bundle of games proved to be a hit, and raised over $20 million for the cause.
