It was a noticeable step up from the makeshift gear and players felt almost civilized using modern weaponry. For players who prefer flashier, bolder weapons than Leg🥀acy was the better version of the game.
9 Experimental: Rustic Weapons 𓃲
Experimental Rust is leaning towards more rustic weapons. In a game about survival in a post-apocalypse environment there aren’t going to be many new weapons or even quality weapons. The military grade hardware has been replaced with less reliable weapons that have been c♈obbled together.
Beancan Grenades are a cheap, but dangerous weapon to toss at enemies. Salvaged Hammers, Axes, and Cleavers are go-to melee weapons. There are still a few military grade weapons kicking around, but they ar♛en’t nearly as pre🤡tty as they used to be.
8 Legacy: Instant Use Medical 📖Items
In the Legacy version of Rust players couඣld instantly heal themselves with medical equipment. It didn’t matter if it was a Small 🎀Medkit or a Large Medkit, once applied the heal was instantaneous.
With enough Medkits a player could take quite a bit of damage before going down. Gunfights cou🎃ld turn into wars of attrition as the player with the most Medkits would survive. It also incentivized stealth and blitz attacks to take the player down before they could equip a Medkit.
7 ꦆ 🐟 Experimental: Healing Takes Time
In Experimental Rust healing takes time. Applying a Medkit is no longer an instantaneous process and recovering health takeဣs a few seconds. Players now have to be more♕ careful when they decide to use them as it leaves them more exposed.
Gunfights became more realistic affairs and have significantly shortened. Having a massive supply of Medkits is no longer a viable strategy 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and having the best weapons and amm🏅o is more important. Stealth and blitz attacks are still f🧔avored of course, but it’s no longer out of necessity.
6 🃏 Legacy: Starting Over Isn't A Big Deal
Starting over in Le🎶gacy Rust, either from a Wipe or being forced to relocate wasn’t the end of the world. There were plenty of ways to obtain gear and even some loot without having to grind up into better tools.
Even if it did take a while the early game weapons were fairly viable and players could outrun even the most dangerous of animals. It didn’t take long for players to get back u💝p and running if they hit r🍌ock bottom or started fresh.
5 💯 Experimental: Starting Out Is Brutal
In Experimental Rust starting over ♒iꩲs a lot more painful. Getting better gear requires having resources and decent equipment which takes time. The grind from early to mid-game is a bit longer and more annoying than it was in Legacy.
Having a rock doesn’t mean as much, animals are faster, players are more dang▨erous. Until the player grinds up into better quality of gear they’re constantly on the edge of death. The early game is a lot more dangerous and handicaps the player’s initial abilities to survive.
4 ꦅ ❀ Legacy: FPS
In Legacy Rust the graphics were certainl♉y dated as it was a product of its🎃 time. But while some player may be bothered by those rudimentary visuals they’ve a benefit to others.
The advantage of older graphics is that the game runs better on older computers meaning more people can play than otherwise. It also is n🐲ice for players with better computers at the game will sing with great FPS and zero stuttering.
3 Exper⭕im♈ental: Graphics
Rust Experimental has updated the graphics significantly to make it more visually appealing in the modern age. It probably won’t win any awards, but it is much more beautiful to look at. For some gamers this helps with the immersion and provides an incentive to take a moment to soak in the virtual surroundings 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:or have better weapon skins.
Of course, the downside to this is that players will need beefier computers to run the game. Not to say they’ll need top of the line equipment, but some of those old laptops that could run Legacy may not cu💎t it on the new version.
2 🐓 Legacy: Smaller M💃aps
Legacy Rust had fairly small mapsᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ to explore. A map with 30 players was practically crowded and led to a lot of encounters.༺ For solo players this mean their base was constantly being watched and they were at risk of being ambushed.
But for PVP players this was a utopia. It was much easier to find other players. The smaller maps also meant finding the right resources, loots, and animals wasn’t 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:an extensive trek to far off biomes. The maps may not have had as much to 𒁏explore, but players could explore every inch of it before a w♎ipe.
1 🎃 Experimental: Large Maps
Experimental Rust has large maps, 30 people on the same map may rarely encounter each other. It takes about 200 to 250 people for a map to feel crowded. For solo players this is a dream as they can🅺 easily find a less traveled area to plant their base and grind a living in relative🅺 peace and quiet.
For PVP players these 🐠larger maps are more of a hassle. It takes a lot of time to find another player and finding a base to steal from is tricky. Encounters are less likely to happen and finding a map with lots of players doesn’t always happen. Travelℱing for resources and loot also takes a lot longer than it used to.
