Sable is an amazing indie game. It offers an unprecedented amount of freedom by setting you free in an expansive world and letting you figure it all out by yourself. There are so many beautiful locations to explore, so many in fact that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the game’s length can be extende♊d greatly if you try and see them all.
Of course, due to the game’s overwhelming level of freedom, there’s a very good chance you’ll have missed a handful of these locations. From a unique puzzle atop a mighty bridge to the lair of beetles with surprisingly valuable dung, these locations may be hidden, but they’re well worth exploring if you get the chance.
5 🌠 Bridge Of The Betrayed Face Puzzle 🎃
The Bridge of the Betrayed is a truly phenomenal location in Sable. It towers over practically everything else, making it a seriously difficult climb, especially for players with little stamina. However, reaching the top and looking out across the rocky desert is a uniquely mesmerizing experience. Once you’re up there, your attention may be diverted to the enormous statue of Obi-Wan and Anakin fighting. Well, we wish it was them, but unfortunately, Sable isn’t set in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars universe. Instead, it’s two knights, one who unfortunatel♊y has the high♏ ground while the other sneaks from below.
Should you head on over to this statue, you may notice a secret passageway hidden behind. Venturing over there will reveal a face puzzle that requires you to stand on a podium and wait for the sun to rise to a certain point. Once it has, the swords of the knights will cast a shadow over the face and unlock it. It is incredibly easy to overlook this puzzle, especially if you’re not particularly inquisitive in this area. It also happens to be on the other side of the bridge from where Elisabet is hanging out, which is where most players will likely head first. So, if you’ve got the time, head on over there an⛎d see what secrets lie beyond the face.
4 The Wyrm
The world of Sable is shrouded in mystery from the moment you begin, all the ﷺway to the credits. Each aspect of its intricately designed world is full of vague details and hidden secrets that build to create a mostly coherent picture, but that don’t reveal everything. Take for example the Wyrm, a giant dead creature whose lifeless body remains upright in the desert. What is it? How did it die? Where are the rest of its kind? All of these questions and more ma𓆏ke it an alluring location for players to explore.
The thing is, the Wyrm itself isn’t particularly hard to miss. It is quite literally a giant sand Wyrm - not unlike those freaky things from Dune with all the teeth - jutting out of the sand. However, what most players will likely miss is what is hidden within the Wyrm’s mouth. It 🏅sounds gross, we know, but there is actually something up there. You’ll need a lot of stamina to reach it, but the secrets hidden inside are worth the climb. Sure, everyone has seen the Wyrm, but we’d hazard a guess that few have been to the very top. Now th🧸at’s a location worth visiting.
3 The Mysterious Shrine ꦇ
The Mysterious Shrine is a tricky place to find. Hidden deep within the side of a mountain, the Mysterious Shrine is home to one of the many side quests available in Sable. Only, the game doesn’t tell you that. Should you pursue the "An Ancient Race" questline before finding the shrine, you may be lost as to where you have to go next. There’s so much we wish we’d known before playing Sa🎃ble, but this is by far the most important. Once you find the shrine, you&r♉squo;ll obviously be able to fast travel back and forth between it, making it raᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚther easy to complete the "An Ancient Race" questline and get those sweet bike parts.
Beyond that side quest, however, The Mysterious Shrine also serves as yet another intriguing yet abstract piece of Sable’s backstory and lore. Its place in the world isn’t ever quite explained, nor are the races you have to complete to unlock the bike. Fortunately, this is actually what makes it such an interesting place to explore and one of the more unique locations in the game. The Machinist that’s there too offers some insight, so if you’re trying to further your knowl𓆉edge about Sable’s world, definitely consider exploring The Mysterious Shrine first.
2 Llhor's Hiding Place
By far, one of the toughest missions in Sable is "Searching For Llhor". It is a side quest that sees you visiting multiple locations across Sable’s enormous map and collecting clues for the titular Llhor’s whereabouts. However, once you’ve received all three clues, the game then doesn’t just show you where she is. You’ll have to figure that one out by yourself. That’s wha🌃t makes the elusive Llhor’s hiding place so enticing.
Finding this hidden location not only takes some serious climbing, but also the use of your brain. It’s hard, but you’ll get there - or you can always just look up a guide. Either way, once you’ve found this location, you’ll not only be treated to the satisfaction of having solved the game’s hardest puzzle - or typing Llhor into Google - but also an intriguing philosophical conversation with Llhor themselves.
1 Carab's Hold
Who doesn’t like dung? Most people? Okay, that makes sense. Well, for those who absolutely love it, Sable has got you covered. During the "The Long Drop" questline, Sable is tasked with collecting Slicer Beetle dung in order to get a beetle mask. It’s fortunately not as gross as it sounds, and it does net you with a sweet-looking mask if you go through with it. However, actually obtaining this mission is a bit of a chore, and players may not find it at all. If you did miss it, then there’s a very good chance you never went to Carab's Hold.
Carab’s Hold is quite a unique location in that it is multilayered. The initial entrance holds an enormous statue that’s quite impressive to behold. Beyond that is a ruined wooden room that lets you drop into a pool of water. Swim through there, and you’ll reach the beetles which scurry around waiting for you to squeeze their poop out of them - we’re sorry, but that’s quite literally what you have to do. Exploring Carab’s Hold is a genuinely exciting experience, even if it is tied to a mission all about dung. But, that’s what makes Sable such an amazing game and by far on🐷e of the best indies optimized for the Xbox Series X. Missions about poop, where💧 else do you get that?
