In a bit of disappointing news, it has been confirmed that the upcoming 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Saints Row: The Third Remastered will be locked to 30 FPS on consoles. This includes even the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X with both platforms favoring💯 visual fidelity over smoother performance.
The details came from an IGN video posted by writer Ryan McCaffrey. While th⛄e PC version won't have any framerate limitations, it seems THQ Nordic wanted to emphasize the visual makeover more than push the performance metric. That's still a marked improvement over the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions (which often ran below 20 FPS), but it's disappointing nonetheless.
Many won't have an issue with this framerate cap, but there isn't much reason why the PS4 and Xbox One couldn't run an almost 10-year-old game at a higher framerate. If Microsoft can get Halo: Reach going at 60 on its aging box,༒ why couldn't THQ Nordic do the sam𒊎e here?
Whatever the reason, just know that you won't be seeing a huge difference with this upcoming remaster. The visuals are 🎃certainly nicer, but the game is going to feel relatively similar to how it used to. That'sꦇ still way better than the Switch port, which is an absolute trainwreck.
