The COVID-19 situation led to Sakurai recording a Direct from his home, as it was filmed in early May. There were many fans who were more interested in seeing what Sakurai's home looks like than the content of the Direct itself, as it's incredibly rare to see inside the personal space of such an iconic video game developer, especially one from Japan, where ce🙈lebrities are more protective of their private life.
