Fans of the Cartoon Network classic should get their katanas ready because Jack is coming back this August with Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time. This 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:cult classic show had an original run of three seasons from 2001 to 2004, but was revived for an additional season on Adult Swim in 2017. Before Battle Through Time, Jack has seen two video game adaptations, including Game Boy Advance title Samurai Jack: The Amulet of Time in 2003, and Samurai Jack: The Shadow of Aku in 2004 on PS2 and GameCube.
Announced earlier this year for a summer rel🀅ease, the official release date trailer confirms we can get our hands on the game on August 21st on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC for $39.99. The game, madℱe by Soleil and published by Adult Swim, will have Jack battling and platforming his way through time and space to defeat his nemesis, Aku. Fans will also be excited to hear that the original voice cast has once again come back to reprise their roles for the game.
Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time will feature over a dozen weapons and multiple skills 💟to use in your battle against the evil creatures in your way. The game promises a mixture of returning characters, events, and locations, while also connecting to the series finale.
Despite the date and price being set, no pre-order pages are up yet on any of the storefronts Samurai Jack is set to release on. However, you can 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:add it to your wishlist on Steam and the Nintendo eShop. One interesting note from the trailer is that the game is going to arrive simultaneously on both Steam and the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Epic Games Store, and doesn't appear to have any exclusive deals.
Despite not pushing any graphical boundaries, the style of Samurai Jack looks incredibly faithful to the source material. Everything in the trailer, from the music to the returning characters, tugs hard on the nostalgia of anyone who was a fan of the show. The inclusion of the older Jack from the new season, an🎀d involvement with Adult Swim, could imply we get a story with the same dark tone seen in the final season of the show. Thankfully we won't have to wait long to get our hands on it and see how the story wraps up.
