After completing the onboarding process and starting your job on the planet in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Satisfactory, you will unlock Tiers 1 and 2, both ofꦿ which provide unique Milestones to strive for. Each Milestone completed unlocks new ♊features and upgrades, helping you track your progress to the next Space Elevator Phase.

Things We Wish We Knew Before Starting🀅 Satisfac💮tory
The game mechanics of Satisfactory can 🧸seem complex at first, but these helpful tips and tricks should s𒀰ee any beginner through to the end.
Tier 2 has a few Milestones that are essential for scaling up your factory; the Assembler and Chainsaw in particular are necessary for making progress in the game. Below, we'll take a look at every Milestone in Tier 2, how to complete them, and what they unlock, as well as several tips f🎶or progressing through each Milestone.
Tier 2 Milestones
There are five Milestones available in Tier 2. While you can complete these concurrently with Tier 1 Milestones, it may be easier to complete Tier 1 Milestones first, as they have lower material costs and will ☂help you set up a basic factory withඣ automated supply lines.
Here are each of the Tie൲r 2 Milestones and how to complete them.
Part Assembly
Materials |
Rewards |
---|---|
200 Cable 200 Iron Rod 500 Screws 300 Iron Plates |
Assembler Copper Sheet Rotor Modular Frame Smart Plating |
The Part Assembly Milestone rewards you with access to the Assembler and a few essential materials. The Assembler works similarly to the Constructor, but it takes two material inputs to make complex parts like the Smart Plating, which is used♔ in the first Space Elevator Phase.
Copper Sheets aren't used until you unlock Coal Power and Pipelines in Tier 3, but Rotors and Modular Frames are used in quite a few recipes during this Phase, so you should try to set up your factory to start producing them.
Additionally, you need 50 Smart Plating to complete the first Space Elevator Phase🍸, so setting up macꦯhines to start producing these, even slowly, will help you in the long run.
Obstacle Clearing
Materials |
Rewards |
---|---|
500 Screws 100 Cable 100 Concrete |
Chainsaw Solid Biofuel +3 Inventory Slots |
Obstacle Clearing is perhaps the most important Milestone to complete in this Tier, and the one you should aim to finish first. This Milestone unlocks the Chainsaw, which lets you cut down trees to get wood and leaves, which you can then turn into Solid Biofuel to power your Biomass Burners.
Solid Biofuel is the most efficient fuel source until you💝 unlock coal, and will power your factory ꦜthrough each of these Milestones, during completion of the first Phase, and well into Tier 2.
The Chainsaw itself is fueled by Solid Biofuel, so we recommend setting up a Constructor or two to convert your leaves and wood into Biomass and then into Solid Biofuel. You can also line up your Biomass Burners with Conveyor Splitters and deposit Biofuel directly into them, meaning you only have to gather the raw materials and put them into your machines to have a semi-automated fuel setu🌱p.
Jump Pads
Materials |
Rewards |
---|---|
50 Rotor 300 Iron Plate 150 Cable |
Jump Pad U-Jelly Landing Pad |
The Jump Pads Milestone unlocks Jump Pads and Landing Pads, which can be used to quickly get around once you've set them up. Jump Pads are mainly useful for getting up steep surfaces, but they can be useful if you have lar♑ge, open spaces in your factory.
Jump Pads are by ♌no means essential, so you can leave this Milestone for later, if you wan🅠t.
Resource Sink Bonus Program
Materials |
Rewards |
---|---|
400 Concrete 500 Wire 200 Iron Rod 200 Iron Plate |
AWESOME Sink AWESOME Shop Build Gun Upgrade: Customizer |
The Awesome Sink unlocked by the Resource Sink Bonus Program Milestone is a way to exchange your excess materials for tickets that can then be used in the Awesome Shop to purchase a variety of cosmetic rewards like catwalks, wa𝓀ll power 🍷outlets, additional foundation options, and more.
If you have extra materials you aren't using,💎 the Awesome Sink is a great way to get a sm💜all bonus from them.
This Milestone also unlocks the Customizer upgrade for the Build Gun, allowing you to change the color palettes of any object in your factory. This means you can color-code machines based on what they're producing, change the color of your foundation tiles, and more. It doesn't cost anything to use the Customizer, so you can go wild painting your factory!
Logistics Mk.2
Materials |
Rewards |
---|---|
50 Reinforced Iron Plate 200 Concrete 300 Iron Rod 300 Iron Plate |
Conveyor Belt Mk.2 Stackable Conveyor Pole Conveyor Lift Mk.2 |
Logistics Mk.2 unlocks some very useful features, but you may not be able to take advantage of them right away. Mk.2 Belts are twice as fast as the Mk.1 versions, meaning they transfer items at double the speed. However, until you unlock Mk.2 Miners later, you may not need this extra speed everywhere in your factory.
Faster belts are great when producing resources that yield higher numbers at a time, like Screws, which then need to be loaded into Assemblers that take a high number of them, like when making Rotors. Mk.2 Belts are also quite expensive at this point, requiring Reinforced Iron Plates, so fu😼lly replacing Mk.1 Belts might not be feasible just yet.
Still, eventually, you'll want to upgrad𝔍e all the belts in your factory to the highest speed they are capable of.
Goals And Tips For Tier 2
As you work through the Tier 2 Milestones, you'll want to start thinking about how to complete the first Phase of the Space Elevator, which means you'll first need to build your Space Elevator.
To build the Space Elevator, ༺you'll need to spend the following m🦹aterials.
- 500 Concrete
- 250 Iron Plate
- 400 Iron Rod
- 1,500 Wire
If you've been diligently optimizing your factory during Tiers 1 and 2, you should be close to having enough resources to build the Elevator. This structure takes up quite a bit of space, 🌸so it might be a good idea to set it up a♋ bit away from your base, but close enough to reach with belts so you can easily deliver Phase parts as you make them.
As mentioned above, to complete this Phase, you'll need to deliver 50 Smart Plating to the Elevator. These can't be crafted by hand, so you'll need to make machines to automate the work for you.
One Smart Plating is made using one Reinforced Iron Plate and one Rotor, and is made in the Assembler unlocked through the Part Assembly Milestone. While unlocking the Tier 2 Milestones, start organizing your factory so that you can produce Reinforced Iron Plates, Rotors, and every part in between, so that you can eventually make Smart Plating.
Smart Plating is entirely made from iron-derived materials, so for now you can leave your copper machines to produce items to store for later. In particular, stocking up on Copper Sheets is a good idea for when you unl𒐪ock fluids in the next Tier, and Wire and Cables are always good to have on hand.
You can also use your copper as a source of early-game tickets by crafting it into Cables and then sending them into the Awesome Sink.
