Most everyone is familiar with the art of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Mario from the 2D worlds that began it all to the present day, elaborate 3D worlds. Super Mario is cute, funny, entertaining, and wholesome.
There are those, however, who have put their art skills to use in order to turn the beloved Super Mario world into that of a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:sick, twisted, horror show. These artists showcase their talents at the expense of our chilꦍdhood memories, leaving us confuse🌠d and likely vulnerable to nightmares. It's perfect.
10 Zombie Maꦯrio 𒊎
Starting off with the big man himself, has re-imagined Mario as a zombie and it's both disturbing and kinda cool. Holding the fire flower is a nice touch, but it's difficult to notice that nuance right away. After all, this is a zombified Mario; the decomposing skin, and what looks to be severe🐻 burn marks draw the eye first. The serious gaze Mario gives the viewer is also disturbing, almost as if he knows something we don't. Keepsake20 didn't hold back on the detail and her version of zombie Mario has been well received.
9 🌸 Old Man Luigi
This image by is less brutal but equally horrifying. Luigi is definitely not the same, cute brother to Mario we are used to seeing. Now, with his tattoos and what seems to be a gun on his hip, it looks like this Luigi stepped out of a Grand Theft Auto game. Everythi🐬ng about this image looks realistic, form Bowser's head, Luigi's bare feet and skinny arms, the scenery, and even the sewer water. It goes to show that horrifying images do not need to showcase a monster; sometimes it just takes a different perspective to completely disturb viewers.
8 🦩 Princess Peach Monster 𓄧
The lovely Princess Peach turned monster–what a sight! Somehow, she looks like an animatronic ready to bust into the office and, well, do her bloody thing. Her teeth have been distorted from her natural pearls to rows of elongated incisors fit for tearing and ripping and all sorts of gruesome actions. Her eyes are particularly off-putting. The way made her eyelashes form seamlessly together with her black eye sockets makes it seem like they are instead little fingers working their way out. It may also be a little difficult to tell, but two red dots act as Peache's eyes. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:This is not a princ꧋ess Mario꧋ should be saving.
7 Not-So-Sexy Bowseꦿtte
Although Bowsette is a fan-made Super Mario character168澳洲幸运5开奖网: made to rese♛mble both Bowser and Peac൩h, this piece of art is less fan service and more true ꦓto what a female Bowser might look like. True to reptilian form, version of the Bowser/Peach fusion is more ghoulish in nature and definitely more frightening.
Those eyes look like they could cut down a mountain and that smile holds all the malice of the world combined. Luckily, this isn't𒈔 a creature gamers will ever run into and all the better for it.
6 📖 Horrifying Dark Ally꧋ Goomba
No one, not even a horror fan would want to run into this thing at night𓃲 down a dark alley. This is the stuff made of nightmares, apparently, nightmares. Goo﷽mba's should not have bodies, it's unnatural. Moreover, Goombas should not have gaping mouths and long, snake-like fangs and they certainly should not be missing an eye. Cinemamind thought this would make for a good scary image, however, and they couldn't have been more correct. Their creative take on the Goomba has birthed this abomination, searing it into our minds so that sleep will not come easy.
5 ⛦ Nightmare Boo
Des✤pite being ghosts, Boos were less scary to deal with than some Super Mario monsters (see below). , however, does an excellent job of drawing up a Boo that mℱost certainly haunts dreams and would not be pleasant to run into. Imagine hoards of these coming out of the walls to chase Mario or Luigi through dark halls and eery corridors. The teeth and the blood imply regular meals of god knows what and the eyes make this Boo seem more like a demon than a ghost. Not the innocent Super Mario world you are used to, huh?
4 The Eel from Jolly Roger Bay ꦿ
No one can forget running into this beast in Mario 64. The soft music and beautiful world of Jolly Rodger Bay is one of the most 🔯iconic worlds of Mario 64 not because the world itself was more elaborate than the others, but b🌌ecause of the eel.
has creat🥀ed the perfect image to embody what just about every child who played the game thought of the eel. No one was expecting this monster to show up in the tranquil water-world, yet there it was, lurking in its hole until it was ready to jump out with open jaws. Truly, a terrifying experience and a terrifying image to express the horror kids felt and have not forgotten over the past decad🌄es.
3 Yoshi and Donkey Kong 𒊎
Inspired by Dead Space, this art piece by turns both Donkey Kong and Yoshi into interstellar monsters. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yoshi is especially horrifying with his tongue reaching out, dripping with what could only be a poisonous slime. It's not how many would like to imagine the cute dinosaur that accompanies Mario in his adventures. Donkey Kong is likewis▨e horrifying with those teeth and those fists that look like they could crush a human. And, although perhaps less scary than the previously shown Goomba, these little Goombas are disturbing yet also, strangely, cute. It's not their fault they are like that. Maybe they need a hug.
2 🐓 Ghostly 𒁃Shy Guy
Though not as viscerally terrifying as some of the previous images, this re-imagining of Shy Guy is scary in its own way. Far from the cute little shaman ghost you find floating around the Mushroom Kingdom, has transformed thisthat no one wants to find in their bedroom at night. Especially since it looks like that is blood on its mask. If the original Shy Guys were mischievous enough to steal Mario's hat,༺ imagine what this disturbing version would steal from while you slept.
1 🍸 A Faster, Better, Strong, Bul💟let Bill
Bullet Bills have been pretty easy enemies to deal with throughout the franchise and not in the least bit intimidating. This image, however, makes them look like the terrors of the sky. It's hard to tell what is behind the cage in Bullet Bill's eye and what is in his mouth, but then again, we may not want 🔜to know. It looks like the over-sized bullet has just torn through something. What that could only have been is best♏ left alone for the sake of our pure minds. Bullet bills have always been an enemy to Mario and the gang, but makes them look less like general enemies and more like an armageddon weapon.
