A little over a month ago, Schalke 04 had just lost to SK Gaming, marking their tenth loss of the season💜 with just one win to show for it. Now, the team has just won its tenth straight game, knocking SK Gaming out of the playoff race and e💛rasing their hopes for a spot at Worlds.

Before being convincingly swept by Schalke in the first round of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:League of Legends European🌼 Championship Summer Playoffs, SK Gaming came into the series as the fifth seed, pitted against the sixth seed, Schalke 04.

Schalke 04 dominated SK Gaming, the team seemingly💙 unrecognizable from where they were just a little over a month ago. Schalke played intelligently, finding almost unreal engages and coordinating their teamfights near-flawlessly. Jungler Erberk "Gilius" Demir, who played the first two games as Hecarim before switching to Kha'Six, seemed to genuinely scare SK with his startling engages.

Gilius paired perfectly with his mid laner Felix "Abbedagge" Braun, who seemingly ended fights befo📖re they even began with his ultimate ability whi𒊎le playing Azir. While in lane, Abbedagge destroyed his opponent, Dirk "ZaZee" Mallner, never giving him a chance.

For SK Gaming, the series was a complete ꧅disaster. It seemed as though they came into the series without a chance. Jungler Kim "Trick" Gang-yun's Volibear, which he brought out in games one and three, was inconsistent with the rest of SK's team compositions and was unable to provide much value or impact in the games.

The rookie mid laner ZaZee in his first playoff series struggled heavily, especiall♛y against lane opponent Abbedagge. The team's carry and fan favorite Juš "Crownshot" Marušič didn't necessarily look awful, but his team was unable to get him into a carry position, and he w🔥as unable to make a real impact.

While SK Gaming's 2020 season is over, Schalke will move on in the LEC Summer playoffs. The games continue on Saturday, with a hyped matchup of G2 Esports vs. MAD🃏 Lions.
