Three months after Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley asked to bring back the Scott Pilgrim video game, Ubisoft has reportedly reached out to m꧋ake it happen. Maybe.

Yeah, the new 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Streets of Rage game is pretty good for a beat 'em up, but you know what was even better? Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game. Yes, the name is a bit of a mouthful, but once you get past the excessive syllables you see that Scott Pilgrim was always supposed to be a video game and not a movie or even a series of comic 🥂books.

It's gotten to the point that fans are even singing a to have Ubisoft remaster the original Scott Pilgrim game for modern consoles. (Actually, that petition came several months before O’Malley tweeted about bringing back the Scott Pilgrim 🍰video game, but we're going to skip over that tidbit for the purposes of ✃narrative flow.)

Last June, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:O’Malley tweeted. And this August, Ubisoft listened. According to yesterday's t🍌weet, "Ubisoft has reached out" to O’Malley, and there's only one thing they could possibly talk about.

Will this result in a remastered game the likes of which to create such a wave of nostalgia that it'll cause a Scott Pilgrim sequel to be produced? Probably not, but we're at least one step closer to getting the Scott Pilgrim෴ game back on digital store shelves, and that's good enough for m🌳e. And for a lot of other people, it seems.

But before we all get our jittery hopes up, remember that Ubisoft is currently 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:embroiled in controversy. Ever since late June, reports have surfaced that Ubisoft has an awful workplace culture filled with misogynistic men and an HR department that enab🐈les wanton sexual harassment. It's gotten so bad that Ubisoft has embarked on a months-long investigation into each report, one that has already resulted in the termination 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:or resignation of multiple 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:executives.

Unfortunately, Ubisoft still owns the rights to the Scott Pilgrim game, so any remaster is likely going to c꧟ome from Ubisoft, which is no bueno. But maybe they’ll at least contract out to an outside dev to get the ga🧜me out for current and next-gen consoles.
