In the long-term, there is even more reason to take on the challenge of Naxxramas. Blizzard has been probing the player base with emails about how best to implement the first expansion into the game. Although not formally announced, there is little doubt that The Burning Crusade Classic, or something similarly named, will be coming soon, and Naxxramas gear is so powerful that you will not find anything better throughout the leveling process from 60-70. Even then, Naxxramas gear will serve you well into Heroic Dungeons, and will only be replaced by new best-in-slot items from the next tier of endgam🦩e raid, which will not be until sometime in 2021.
Unlike the original launch in 2006, there are far more players who will be able to complete the content now. There are several reasons for this, but one simply has to do with timing of future content. When Naxxramas first launched, only a few weeks pa⭕ssed before information of the Burning Crusade released, and many players opted to wait for the next round of upgrades. Blizzard will not repeat that same mistake this time, and there is plenty of time to clear both Naxxramas and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
