Apocalypse joins the X-Men in the Excalibur reboot that arrives in stores this October. And no, he’s not being resurrected as a 6-year-old thiꦕs time.

Announced at San Diego Comic-Con during Marvel's "Next Big Thing" panel, writer Jonathan Hickman and X-Men editor Jordan White revealed no less than six new spinoff series that will arrive starting this fall. They will pick up tales where House of X and Powers of X leave off and weave a bran𝔉d new world for X-Men fans to enjoy.

And Apocalypse is in one of them. But not as a 🔜bad guy. Probably.

Starting with Excalibur #1, the reboot of the classic Captain Britain series will explore the new connection between mutants and magic. The new Captain Britain (also known as Eliz꧒abeth Braddock who was previously Psylocke) heads a new Excalibur team f🌠illed with former X-Men, including Gambit, Jubilee, and Rogue.

We’re not trying to alarm you, but the cover art also features Apocalypse. Although h🤪e’s not trying to kill everyone so he’s probably a good guy now. At least, to start.

In addition to the reboot of Excalibur, X-Men is also getting a new serie꧃s that's written 🧸by Jonathan Hickman himself and explores the saga of Cyclops. And in keeping with that theme, the cover features the entire freakin' Summers family, including Scott Summers (Cyclops), Nathan Summers (Cable), alternative universe daughter Rachel Summers, Alex Summers (Havok), Gabriel Summers (Vulcan), and father Chris Summers (Corsair).

We’re guessing there is going to be some serious time travel and/or extra-dimensional gymnastics to explain this fa⛄mily reunion.

Next, Marauders will feature mutants on the high seas and answer the question: "What if X-Men, but also pirates?" Or in this case, pirate hunters. Join Storm, Pyro, Bishop, and Ic🐲eman as they sail t🦹he world's oceans and hunt pirates.

Three more series are also coming, including New Mutants (featuring Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Mirage, Karma, and newcomers Chamber and Mondo), Fallen Angels (featuring Psylocke, X-23, Cable, and Kwannon), as well as a new X-Force full of classic X-Men mutants.

Each first issue arrives in Octob🍰er of 2019, so 🔥mark your calendars.
