These are some of the new enemies and difficult bosses that you can fight in the new updates of the game, and how to defeat them if you ever come face to face with them on the open sea.

13 GOLD SKELETONS: Ge🌸t Them Wet 🔯

Gold Skeletons are exactly what they sound like - skeletons made out of solid gold. They're quite pretty compared to the average skeleton, and it is an interesting sight to see a bunch of bones that are covered in gold plating.

These powerful enemies will not be damaged much by the cutlass weapon. You should make sure to get them in water before attacking them, otherwise, your attacks will do very little damage. If you're not near water while fighting these enemies, then you should attempt to throw buckets of water onto the skeletons to make them more susceptible to your attacks.

12 SNAKES: Shoot Themꦚ

sea_of_thieves_snake_on_the_beach

Snakes aren't especially powerful compared to some of the other enemies on this list. However, they are quite annoying because they will cloud your vision, and the screen will become all wavy.

The easiest way to deal with this menace is to not directly app🧜roach them and instead shoot them with a gun before ever getting within biting distance. Snakes in Sea Of Thieves are just as annoying as their real-life counterparts.

11 ⛦ ꦅ SHARKS: Have A Friend Shoot Them

sea_of_thieves_sharks_and_pirate_playing_music

Sharks can be a nuisance if you are trying to bring cargo back to the ship or swim in the water towards barrels. They will do massiv🐻e amounts of damage and take your health bar out i🗹n only a few hits, not to mention they move very quickly.

The easiest way to deal with these water monsters is to have a crewmate that is either on land or on the ship shooting them because they will have a better view of the shark in the water than you will. Sharks are one of the worst enemies ൲in Sea Of Thieves, and players should steer clear of them at all costs!

10 GUNPOWDER SKELETONS: Shoot Their Barrels൩

Gunpowder Skeletons can ruin a fun day on the beach, and their explosions can destroy your plans. These terrible skeletons will run towards you with gunpowder barrels in their hands and attempt to blow you up with no regard as to what happens to th😼em in the process.

The only way to deal with these creatures is to shoot⭕ the gunpowder barrel while from a safe distance. The easiest way to do this is with the sni💜per weapon, and you should have a sniper equipped if they see multiple gunpowder skeletons on an island that you are about to arrive at.

9 SHADOW SKELETONS: Leave Them A꧑lone Or Equip Your Lantern

Shadow Skeletons are the trickiest enemies to deal with. They won't take damage in the darkness, so you will either have to fight them during the day or shine your lamp onto them to make them susceptible to attacks.

During the night, there is very little chance you will defeat a horde of these alone because of how much damage they deal and how difficult it is to continually shine a light and then switch back to your weapon. It's best to leave these enemies alone if you can do so. Otherwise, equip your lantern.

8 PLANT SKELETONS: Use A Sword & Stay Dry 👍

Plant Skeletons are very mossy, and most pirates loathe having to fight them. They take much more damage from the cutlass weapon than regular skeletons, and they become stronger when they touch the water. Basically, they're the opposite of Gold Skeletons.

Believe it or not, fighting these enemies shouldn't be too difficult. You will just have to avoid going near water, and you should not attempt to use guns. These plant-loving skeletons will be easily defeated as long as you only use your sword.

7 𒁏 SKELETON SHIP: Use Cannonballs

Skeleto𝔉n Ships can be quite a bother to defeat because they have an extensive crew that will be shooting cannonballs at your ship. You can use cannonballs to take one of these ships out quickly, and the best way to do so is to have every available crewmate operating cannons when one of these appears.

This ship can be easy to defeat for powerful pirates. However, for beginners and less-seasoned pirates, you will have a bit of difficulty while facing them - especially if you attempt to board the ghost ship. The most important thing to remember with a skeleton ship is that cannonballs will do tꦏhe trick.

6 THE SHROUDED GHOST: Leave It Alone Or Use Cannonballs ও

sea_of_thieves_giant_shark_chasing_player_ship

There are a variety of different Megladon Sharks present in Sea Of Thieves, but the most terrifying one is the Sh🏅rouded Ghost. Every pirate wants to see one of these legendary creatures because they are so rare but realistically speaking, many piratesꦇ would not be prepared to fight one if it suddenly appeared out of the water.

Taking one of these out is the same as fighting any other Megalodon Shark. However, the Shrouded Ghost has extra health and deals more damage. The best thing for you to do if you don't believe that you can defeat the enemy is to sail away. Still, if you want to take your chances and fight this beast, then you can use cannonballs and guns to shoot at it until it eventually dies. This will take a lot of time, though.

5 SKELETON LORDS: Be Prepar🔯ed For A Long Fight

sea_of_thieves_skeleton_captain_eating_food

Skeleton Lords are found throughout Sea of Thieves during both the Tall T🍃ale quests and voyages. They are also occasionally found while completing Skull Forts. These skeletons have a distinct appearance and have a name floating above their head.

There are different types of Skeleton Lords, and generally, the best way to deal with them is to attack them as if they are regular skeletons. They usually just have more health and can spawn minions to attack you. Stay calm while fighting these enemies because they aren't that strong - they're just very durable.

4 THE KRAKEN: Leave It Alone Or Use Cannonballs 🧔

sea_of_thieves_kracken_attacking_a_ship

The Kraken is, without a doubt, the most challenging enemy to battle in Sea Of Thieves. Most beginner pirates stand no chance ♏against an enemy such as this one, and the tentacles will quickly scoop you up into their mouths.

Shooting cannonballs at the Kraken will slowly destroy the tentacles one by one and eventually destroy the monster so that you can move on, 🦋but this is easier said than done. If you would like to attempt to leave the fight, it will be challenging because your pirate ship will sail away slowꦑly. The most likely outcome will be that the ship is destroyed, so avoiding these creatures is crucial for survival.
