Now, gamers everywhere are going to feel some kind of way about Sea of Thieves. A console exclusive for the Xbox One (and there aren’t enough 🍷of those to go around, as we know), this one held a good deal of promise. A ‘pirate-based open world co-op action adventure’ is😼 an intriguing Frankenstein mishmash of genres, after all, and that’s something many were interested to get in on.

Something like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’s sailing sections dialled up to eleven was♏ an enticing concept. Who wouldn’t want to make a pirate crew wi🍎th their friends and wreak havoc on the high seas together? The sad fact was, the game struggled to live up to that sort of hype.  citing such factors as bugs, a trollish playerbase and a lack of content.

Then there were Rare’s questionable decisions along the way, such as the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:‘Death Tax’ they trieꦏd to impose on players who met unfortunate ends. Which they will, constantly.

Never mind all of that, though. In this brave new age of post-release patches and updates, content-light titles need not remain so. Speaking of bones, we’ve got some Pirates of the Caribbean-style skeletal pirates coming or way in the freshly-announced Sea of Thieves expansions.

We were first introduced to the Cursed Sails and Forsaken Shores content packs All we were told then was that the former will bring a new ship type into the fray, while the latter will offer a new part of the world to explore. not only are Rare getting boastful about the title (4 million players! 1.5 million friends made! 91 million hours played!), they’re introducinꦚg us to the super-dark contents of these ne🌱w updates.

There’s also a💦 handy-dandy release schedule in the teaser. Cursed Sails is set to arrive in July♔, while Forsaken Shores is due to drop in September.
