The studio expresse🌊d their delight at joining Creative Assembl𒅌y, Sports Interactive, Relic Entertainment and Amplitude Studios, who are all also part of Sega.

Two Point Studios already have an existing relationship with Sega, who are the publishers for ꧑the company’s hospital management simulator.

Two 💙Point Studios was founded in July 2016 by Ben Hymers and former Bullfrog developers Mark Webley and Gary Carr. They are a small UK based studio with just 17 employees, many of whom p﷽reviously worked at Bullfrog, Lionhead Studios and Mucky Foot Productions.

The studio has previously played to its strengths, utilizing the skill-sets of a team with extensive experience in simulation games to produce their debut title, Two Point Hospital, a spiritual successor to Theme Hospital.

The game was released last August and has been a critical and commercial success. It puts you in the role of hospital builder and overseer as you strive to create a hospital able to deal with the wide range of bizarre illness in Two Point county. Since release the game has seen two paid dlc packs and several free updates, including the recent Superbug Initiative w🐷hich allows players to work together to achieve common goals.

Sega has been working with the team prior to this as pꦏart of its Searchlight program, which aims to identify new talent and opportunities for the publisher. The searchlight initiative saw Sega investing in and signing publishing deals with independent studios, including Two Point Stud♛io. This take over is an expansion of that we are told “means new, exciting management sims coming from us!”

Many fans are hoping the next game on the cards is a spiritual successor to fellow Bullfrog classic, Theme Park.
