The game, which will be limited to 3,000 units, will be listed at $39, while a Road Trip Edition, which will be limited to 1,000 units, will retail for $49. The game, which pays tribute to fan-favorites like Out Run, Sega Rally, Le Mans 24 Hours, Crazy Taxi and Daytona USA, hopes to attract a new generation of racing fans.

Despite its short lifespan, the Dreamcast was the first console to include a built-in modular modem for internet support and online play🥂. Yet the introduction of Playstation 2, Nintendo GameCube and Microsoft Xbox quickly overshadowed the SEGA console, which held only 15 percent of the market share, while Sony and Nintendo held 50 and 35 percent, respectively.

In total, 9.13 million Dreamcast units were sold worldwide. After its discontinuation, games were still developed and released for the system until mid- 2002. Although𝓀 it eventually failed in the face of the competition, IGN named the Dreamcast the eighth greatest video game console of all time in 2009, noting the system’s innovation and software.

The Arcade Racing Legends will allow players to drive their vehicles at full speed𒊎 on six different tracks, including city and desert circuits. Players can compete in the Duel mode or accept the challenges of the Career mode. Training and skill enhancement will also 🐎allow gamers to unlock additional features.

In addition, gamers can select from more than 15 different vehicles and enjoy the original electro and punk rock soundt⛎rack. While the game has not been licensed or endorsed by SEGA, it is licensed by the software rights holder and is compatible with all Dreamcast consoles built before November 2000.
