However, the developers of both games, coupled with the two team-ups already in 2025, heavily imply there will not only be characters from other games, but some of those games might not be Sega games, on the CrossWorlds roster.

Even though CrossWorlds doesn't have a release date, some people have already played it. There was a network test for the racing game last month, but only Sonic characters were shown. However, Sega has at least already confirmed there will be non-Soni𝓰c characters in the game, confirming the roster will 𓂃eventual♋ly include "iconic characters from the Sonic and Sega universes."
