Sekiro is an extremely challenging game. No one is conte♌sting that. Luckily, From were kind enough to give us various shinobi prosthetics to aid us along our way.

Of course, like any video game, the useful nature of these prosthetics varies wildly from prosthetic to prosthetic. Some are increꦑdibly useful, and you will see yourself using them every chance you get. And some you can in♌stantly toss out the window without giving it a second thought.

Luckily for you, we're here to help you differentiate the good from the bad. These are the Sekiro prosthetics ranked from least to most useful.

10 Sabimaru

Let's be honest with ourselves - the sabimaru is pretty useless. Seriously, have any of you ever, you know, used it? The sabimaru is essentially another sword, allowing you dual wield swords like the true shinobi that you are!

It also inflicts the poison status, allowing you to slowly chip away at your opponent's health. However, it's only useful against a handful of enemies (gun-wielding ones in particular), and it does very little damage in and of itself. In the end, you're better off spending your spirit emblems somewhere else. After all, who needs another sword when you have more useful prosthetics?

9 🧜 Finger Whistle

The Finger Whistle is slightly more u🐻seful than the sabimaru, al꧑though certainly not by much. The Finger Whistle performs two functions - it causes animals to go wild, and it draws the attention of guards. Two things.

One, causing animals to go wild isn't really necessary, as animals are incredibly easy to dispose of. You're just wasting spirit emblems. Secondly, ceramic shards ALSO draws the attention of guards, and those don't require the use of spirit emblems! If you're not fighting the Demon of Hatred, then put the Finger Whistle away.

8 ཧ ꦬMist Raven

The Mist Raven prosthetic is probably the most easily missed, and we're sure some of you read the headline and thought, "Mist Raven? The heck is that?" Lucky for you, you aren't missing much.

The Mist Raven is an evasive tool, and it allows you to easily distance yourself from enemies. Holding R2 and moving in a specific direction will cause Wolf to disappear for a second and instantly transport a few feet in the desired direction, allowing him to evade enemy attacks. It's useful if you're playing a defensive game, but it's nothing a few well-timed dodges and parries can't see to.

7 ♑ Loaded Axe

The loaded axe sounds like a beast, and it can be. But it's not quite as useful as we'd like it to be. Yes, it is fantastic against shielded enemies, as it allows you to instantly break their defense and get in a fatal deathblow.

It is also quite useful when it comes to breaking enemy posture, as the whirling function allows you to hit your enemy numerous times in a row without interruption. But that's about it. You whipped it out the odd time here and there (especially when you came across a tough, shielded boss), but we wouldn't be surprised if you also forgot about it entirely.

6 ♌ Loaded Shuriken

And now we're getting to the good stuff! Sorta. The loaded shuriken isn't the best prosthetic tool in the game, but it certainly has its uses. This tool fires small ninja stars at your targets and is especially good on animals, as it kills them in one swift hit. It also allows you to knock airborne enemies out of the air, dealing a large amount of posture damage.

Finally, you can interrupt enemy attacks AND prevent enemies from withdrawing and recovering their posture. Sure, it's a little cheesy at times, but in a game this difficult, you should take all the help you can get!

5 🌄 Loಌaded Spear

The loaded spear is an offensive weapon that allows you to inflict an enormous amount of posture damage. You can charge at your enemies with the spear, or you c🦋an draw them towards you and follow-up with a flurry of attacks.

You can also strip the armor from larger enemies, exposing them and weakening their posture and vitality. It is also insanely helpful against the Guardian Ape, as it allows you to pull the centipede from its neck and deal an enormous (and helpful) amount of posture damage. Seriously, don't sleep on the loaded spear!

4 Loaded Umbrella ♛

A lot of people sleep on the umbrella, but we think it's a fantastic little prosthetic tool with its own unique uses. It's a great defensive tool, as the shelter function allows you to hide from all ranged and light attacks. This is especially helpful if you find yourself in a pinch. But it can also be used to block enemy attacks!

Th👍is is great for newcomers, as the umbrella deflect is far easier to time than regular sword deflects. That said, relying on the umbrella deflect can eat up your spirit emblems, so we recommend learning the ropes sooner or later!

3 Divine Abduction ܫ

Now if you want a REALLY underrated prosthetic tool, we give you the Divine Aওbduction! The divine abduction function is amazing and highly helpful, as it allows you to turn enemies around and make them vulnerable to a deathblow.

It's also very useful against larger enemies, as using divine abduction may cause them to simply disappear entirely. It's a lot easier than parrying and dodging, that's for sure! We cannot recommend divine abduction enough.

2 Flame Vent ಌ

The flame vent is a fan favorite, and for good reason. It's easy to understand, and it does exactly what it suggests. The flame vent shoots a stream of fire out of your arm, inflicting the burn status on various enemies. This is extremely useful against all enemies but particularly useful against ogres and those with straw coats.

It does heavy initial damage and it slowly inflicts burn damage over time. What's not to love? We can understand defensive players not using the flame vent as much, but those who want to do crazy damage cannot go wrong with the flame vent.

1 Shinobi Fir🃏ecracker 🌺

If you use one prosthetic tool, make it the shinobi firecracker. This thing is amazingly useful, and you can use it in a ton of diff🌞erent ways. You can use it as a stunning device, blinding your enemies and allowing for a few follow-up attacks.

You can also use it defensively, scattering firecrackers across the ground and making a quick escape. And finally, it is useful against virtually every single boss in the game. You can't go wrong with the shinobi firecracker.
