But since joining, the 21-year-old has been anything but quiet, constantly proving to fans and opposing players that he is a force to be reckoned with. Dapr plays a critical role on his team⛦, playing Cypher to gather intel, while simultaneously top fragging. The man even long-time professional gamer James "hazed" Cobb in the finals.
Along with dapr, it was his teammate, Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan, propelling his team by repeatedly b🦂esting Matthew "Wardell" Yu in 1v1 Operator battles.
After a few weeks of insecurity among fans, the star-stacking strategy employed by Sentinels seems to finally be paying off. In the very beginning of VALORANT, while esports organizations such as TSM opted to sign complete rosters, Sentinels instead signꦗed individual top tier superstars. With TSM winning tournament after tournament, many were critical of Sentinels, stating that teamwork and coordination is more important than individual skill. However, after just a month or two of gelling, Sentinels look like the clear best team in North America, and one of the best in the world.
