Unfortunatel𓆉y, Shang Tsung’s recent reveal trailer pretty much kills any chance of Rain, Reptile, Ermac, or Smoke arriving as their own DLC characters.
Last week, we found out some of Shang Tsung’s awesome new moves in a gameplay reveal trailer for the first Kombat Pack DLC for Mortal Kombat 11. While it’s great to see Shang Tsung back in Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa-form (with Tagawa being the actor who played Tsung in the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie), the trailer also ꦦshowed Shang Tsung turning into a bunch of ninjas we were🔥 all sort of hoping would arrive as their own characters, but it now seems that’s not likely to be the case.
At vary📖ing points in the Kombat Pack trailer, Shang Tsung morphs into Rain, Ermac, Reptile, and Smoke, using their iconic moves to beat the stuffing out of Raiden, Kung Lao, and Liu Kang. Their inclusion as part of Shang Tsung’s moveset seems to make it clear that these four pallet-swapped ninjas are unlikely to appear in any future DLC on their own, and instead will be unique to Tsung as part of his retinue of consumed souls.
Mortal Kombat II’s Kintaro also shows up as one of Tsung’s fatalities, making it unlikely he will be available as a DLC character either. Not that anyone was really asking for a Kintaro 🍃DLC.
In addition to Tsung’s gameplay, the Kombat Pack trailer also revealed 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:three more charact༒ers that will arrive. Mortal Kombat 3’s Nightwolf, the Native American shaman, arrives along with the Outworld witch Sindel. Todd McFarlane’s Spawn is also going to appear in MK11 and be voiced by the original animated series voice actor, K💮eith David.
Two more DLC characters are still complete unknowns. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rumors say that it could be either The Terminator, Ash from the Evil Dead series, or Joker from DC comics.
We’ll find out more when Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pack goes into early access on June 18th. The full release will happen on June 25th, starting at $39.99 if purchased separately or $99.99 as part of the Premium Edition.
