Do I Need To Play The Shin Megami Tensei Series In Order?
If you're wondering if Shin Megami Tensei 5 is a direct sequel and whether you need to play the other titles first, the answer is no. All of the mainline games in the series are not connected to one anot🐈her in terms of story, so they can be played in whichever order you want. Though they are all very similar in terms of content, themes, and mechanics, of course.
How Is Shin Megami Tensei Related To Persona?
You may or may not be aware that there is a connection between the Megami Tensei and Persona series, in fact, if you have played both, you'll undoubtedly have noticed the similarities in terms of game mechanics, such as recruiting and fusing demons.
