When it comes to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Shin Megami Tensei, most people are more familiar with the spinoff franchise Persona. Persona 3 was lightly getting traction, but the vita port of Persona 4 is seemingly where the series really exploded in the W🤪est. These games are synonymous with being lengthy adventures,ꦺ but not all of them will take hundreds of hours to play.

To gather data for this list, was used as a reference. Games are broken down into three categories. Players can go through the main story, the main story plus extras, and then the completionists which is all that plus presumably trophy hunting for g𒁏ames that have it.

10 Longest: Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne

After being trapped on the PS2 for almost two decades, Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne is finally going to make a return next year. Atlus is re🀅mastering it for Switch. The average playtime of the main story falls around fifty💎-three hours, which will presumably increase with the remaster’s bonuses. This series was not as big as it is now so many missed this gem.

9 Shortest: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner

This was released for the Sega Saturn in Japan and it remains an exclusive still. The Sega Sat🐓urn itself is a system steeped in mystery with too many games to count trapped on it. Anyway, for those that are interested and speak Japanese, this one is only about twenty-nine ho♚urs. As is the case with most of these, that number nearly doubles with extras.

8 Longest: Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey

This was originally a DS game and yes, it actually did releasꦇe in the West. With a high difficulty and a meaty fifty-four♓ hours of main story, this portable RPG wasn’t playing around.

While there is a lot here, it also didn’t grab much of an audience d🐽ue to the aforementioned challenge and lack of an engaging story. This one is for the diehard fans of the mechanics.

7 Shortest: Shin Megami Tensei: Nine

This is yet another exclusive for Japan. Even stranger this was, and still is, exclusive for the original Xbox. Shin Megami Tensei: Nine plays like a typical entry in the series, but the other interesting thing of note here was that it was the debut entry for modern consoles of this generation. It beat out Nocturne by a year. Anyway, it’s 𝐆about twenty-seven hours.

6 Longest: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4

The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Persona series is the end all be all of Shin Megami Tensei in terms of giving players more bang for their buck. This is due in part because of how they all meticulously play out from a single school year. It’s part simulation, part RPG. The main story can be rushed through in about seventy-two hours, but this is easily a ninety plus hour deep dive. Persona 4 is often heralded as the best by fans.

5 Shortest: Shin Megami Tensei: Dev💛il Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army

This is actually a very underrated title and there are a fꦐew reasons why it perhaps didn’t hit. One, the series still wasn’t huge in the Wes🃏t at this point.

Two, the name, along with its more ridiculous sequel, may have scared players away. Here are𒊎 two things worth noting on the positive end. The game is a breezy twenty-six and half hours on average. Unlike most entries it’s also action-based.

4 Longest: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3

As it was stated in the Persona 4 entry, this spinoff series is a school sim mixed with a typical Japanese RPG. However, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Persona wasn’t always like this. Technically the first three entries, the second was split into two parts, were more inline with a typical Shin Megami Tensei adventure. This changed with Persona 3. Facts aside, this PS2 classic can range from about eighty-two hou♔rs to something way in the hundreds depending on how deep one wants to go.

3 Shortest: Shin Megami Tensei If...

Speaking of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Persona, Shin Megami Tensei If..., yes the ellipses is part of the title, was Atlus experimenting with the idea of Persona. That is to say there are many similarities one could see between this Super Famicom game and the first entry on PS1. It is exclusive to Japan, but there is a fan patch for it. Given that, and its short twenty hour play time, this is a big recommend, again, especially for Persona fans.

2 Longest: Persona 5

Even though 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Persona 5 does’t have the Shin Megami Tensei label anymore, this is still part of the series. It can range from ninety hours to, again, over a hundred. The Persona series is not messing around and the re-release of Persona 5 this year is even more packed with tasty morsels. For the current time in society, there has never been a better time to buy it, or any Persona game. This should take players well 💯into the launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

1 Shortest: DemiKids: Light Version

The easiest game to pick up and finish over a weekend is either of the two DemiKids games. The Light version is about eleven hours while the Dark counterpart is around fourteen. How𝓡 can one be longer? It’s all about player skill, but either way both are pretty quick if one can find a Game Boy Advance cartridge. They are more like Pokémon than any other title in the series. Atlus was clearly trying to appeal tᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚo that crowd.
