There is no shortage of168澳洲幸运5开奖网: terrible shiny Pokémon. There are quite a few that have awful c🌸olors paired together, while others look the exact same if they're shiny or regular. When shiny hunting, it's possible to come across some of the terrible ones and feel a huge sense of disappointment, even 🐬if the shiny experience is still exciting.

Many shinies look really cool compared to their regular counterparts, but many are the exact opposite. There are some that are very ugly when shiny, and you'd probably wish you had the regular version instead. Here are just a few examples of those Pokémon.

10 🍒 Galarian Darmanitan

Darmanitan'ಌs Galarian form is already a pretty ugly Pokémon, with its huge lips, soulless eyes, and strange spherical head tumor. Its shi෴ny form was a perfect opportunity to redeem this ugly dude.

However,168澳洲幸运5开奖网: it doesn't. Galarian Darmanitan's shiny form changes its icy blue detailing — arguably the best part of its design 𓆏— to a horrible shade of primary green. Zen Mode is a bit better, trading the orange eyes and hands for pink and red. However, its normal form is bad enough for the two of them.

9 Feebas

Like Galarian Darmanitan, Feebas is a very ugly Pokémon. However, Feebas is meant to be, as its gimmick is that it's incredibly ugly and weak but 1ꦛ68澳洲幸运5开奖网:evolves into a beautiful andꦛ powerful Pokémon.

However, Feebas is not nearly as ugly as it💞 could be, as its shiny form has shown us. Feebas swaps its beiꦐge-brown body for a deep purple that makes it look just dreadful. This poor fish didn't need to be any uglier, but here we are.

8 Kingdra

Changing gears from very ugly Pokémon brings this list to Kingdra — a very beautiful sea dragon that is the epitome of good Pokémon design. This Water/Dr✃agon-type is typically a shade of light blue similar to its pre-evolutions. However, it doesn't retain their shiny coloring, unfortunately.

Horsea trades the light blue for a beautiful shade o🍬f tea🔯l, while Seadra trades it for a nice deep grey-blue with complementary orange detailing. Kingdra, on the other hand, becomes a strange shade of pink or purple. It's not terrible, but the original is definitely better.

7 Primarina

Primarina is a very pretty Pokémon, featuring pretty blue frills, pink accents, and nice turquoise hair that flows like water. Despite complaints from fans when its de൩sign was revealed, it's beautiful and it fits the oceanic opera singer theme perfectly.

Primarina's shiny, though, is awful. Its blue tail and frills are traded for a darker blue and a weird be🌳ige-cream color that look terrible together. And, worst of all, the beautiful flowing hair becomes a buttery light yellow. It's a horrible combination of blue and yellow that is much worse than Primarina's initial color palette.

6 ꦐ Chandelure ꦿ

Chandelure is a very interesting Pokémon. It spurred some split opinions when it was released, as many hated that168澳洲幸运5开奖网: it was just a sentient chandelier. Others, though, fell in love with its design. It even came first 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:out of all Unova Pokémon in the 2020 Pokémon of the Year vote.

Its shiny isn't bad, per se, but it is boring. Chandelure's iconic purple flames are swapped for a normal orange fire. It's fine, but the ethereal purple spoke to Chandelier's ghostly origin a𒀰nd was much cooler.

5 Honchkrow

Honchkrow is somewhat similar to Chandelure when it comes to dark, creepy design. This large raven is crossed with design e𒁏lements of both a mafia boss and a witch's broomstick, following in the footsteps of its pre-evolution, the witchy and dark Murkrow.

It's not as cool, then, when shiny. Honchkrow (and Murkrow) are both a bright, blinding pink that assaults the eyes. It's not the worst pink shiny in existence, but it🦩 detracts from their dark, macabre appearance.

4 Bruxish

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bruxish is such a polarizing Pokémon. Some are huge fans of its ridiculous makeup look, while others think it's downright hideous. Regardless of fan opinion, though, Bruxish definitely left its mark on players of the Generation VII games. The mishmash of pink, b🤡lue, yellow, and purple is definitely memorable.

However, its shiny is terrible. The fun, tropical easter colors are swapped for yellow, red, white, and green. The white circle around the mouth is awkward, and the overall color scheme is reminiscent of condiments — ketchup, mustard, mayo, and relish. There are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:some great white shinies out there, but this isn't one of them.

3 Hawlucha

Another polarizing shiny is Hawlucha. Th🍰is Flying/Fighting luchador bird is already a pretty cool Pokémon that features a few different colors. The red, green, white, and orange palette is probably based on the resplendent quetzal, a bird that Hawlucha takes some design inspiration from.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:When shiny, Hawlucha trades its fun luchador coloring for a red body, purple wings, and black and green elements. It could have been way better if the colors were more cohesive, or if the🎃 head wasn't purple. It's hard to tell what exactly is wrong with this palette, but it just isn't right.

2 Lucario

What can one say about shiny Lucario? It's just subpar and could have been way better if things were different. Sure, it's not ugly, but it just loses Luca𓄧rio's cool design and replaces it with something strange.

Lucario, based on the Egyptian Anubis, is a nice dark blue, normally. It matches its A🍃ura moves and overall "cool guy" design. However, when shiny, it becomes a strange lemon✨ yellow that is just as sour as an actual lemon. What a missed opportunity for a cool blood-red or dark purple shiny, or even a silvery grey to match its Steel-typing.

1 Moltres

Perhaps the ultimate bad shiny, especially in terms of its comparison to the regular coloring, is Moltres. This Legendary Fire/Flying-type from the Kanto region is already dangerously close to the design of a 𓄧fiery chicken. The last thing it needs is a shiny coloring that makes it look like raw chicken.

But, unluckily, that's exactly what Moltres looks like when shiny. Its manila yellow body is swapped for a bright pink. It🐎 looks like either a raw chicken breast or a very bad sunburn. Poor thing.
