Sifu will▨ be getting free outfits in future updates and developer Sloclap is taking requests.
Unless you're playing on PC and enjoying the various character mods, Sifu currently only has one outfit available for the player to use. The default costume changes depending on what age the protagonist is, but it's still only one costume in a game with so many inspirations that it feels almost too obvious to add some more.
That's exactly what Sloclap is doing with Sifu. When discussing a special present coming for Deluxe Edition owners, it also . Sloclap previously promised that a free gift would be coming to those who bought the deluxe edition, as problems at launch meant that players didn't get the early access that they paid for.
It's now been revealed that the gift will be an exclusive costume for the main character. Sloclap said, "A special gift is coming for the #Sifu Deluxe Edition holders: an exclusive outfit for the main character. It will be released with the first major Sifu update in early May. More info coming soon!"
That's not all, however. Sloclap went on to say that it plans on including more costumes in the game for free and is even taking requests from players. It said, "The team will also be adding more outfits to Sifu in future updates - If you have ideas, feel free to share! No guarantees - but we'll take a look at all the propositions".
Although there isn't a concrete release date for these costumes, we at least know that the exclusive deluxe edition one will be part of Sifu's first major update in May. No hints are given as to what that costume might be, but more information is apparently on the way.
The comments underneath the Tweet are now full of costume requests from Sifu players as you'd expect. Some of the highlights include Bruce Lee's iconic yellow jumpsuit, outfits from The Raid, a Daredevil costume, and even Neo from The Matrix.
