Sifu is a brief, but dense and intense game. You can easily get through the game in about six or seven hours, but that time will be either shorter or longer depe🐽nding on your skill and how fast you adapt to the unique combat. By the time you finish th🍎e last boss for the first time, you have not really beaten the game.
Even after doing the proper ending and reaching the credits by sparing all the bosses' lives, there are plenty of questions we have regarding Sifu's story and its future. But even if these questions are never answered or explained, Sifu will still remain an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:engaging brawler w😼ith a unique progreဣssion system and game-over mechanic.
7 Why Did Your🍸 Father Hide The Secret K⛎nowledge?
Sifu starts with Yang, who turns out to be the final boss, k𝔍illing your father and stealing a precious talisman with the ability to heal people with terminal i♉llnesses. Why, exactly, was this being kept from the public?
It seems like your father should have just been healing people the whole time. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Perhaps a sequel will go deeper into why this ꦏknowledge could not be shared, exploring the unforeseen implications of giving it to everyone who nee🅷ds it. Either that or the story was not as well-thought-out as it should have been.
6 📖 Isn't Y🌼ang A Good Guy?
Yang kills your father because he wanted to heal his family. By the end of the game he has established a healing clinic and everyone there seems to be plenty satisfied with 🔯the result. In the first ending, you kill him and are berated for not following the way of Wude.
The proper ending has you dying and potentially being revived by Yang, depending on how you interpret the finale. Yang ultimately seems like a pretty standup guy. The game does not seem to judge you or Yang by the end. You seem pretty justified in wanting retribution, but Yang was just doing all he could to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:save his family. It was still pretty messed up that he killed a ki🗹d in the beginning, of co✨urse.
5 Why Is The🌱re So Much E⛄nglish Writing Everywhere?
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sifu takes place in China, yet there is a ton of English writing everywhere. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:There are other articles elsewhere on this 🍬site that explore the game's representation of China and Chinese culture. One of the main elements pointed out was the English writing next to Chinese characters.
The final level starts with a b♏anner that states "The Sanctuary" and then has it written in English right below in a plain, unstylish font. It almost ruins the immersion, and it probably would have been better to have the English translation in subtitles.
4 💛 Why Did Yang Kill You In The First Place?
It does not make sense for Yan✃g to kill you in the introductory mission. Not only were you not a threat at the time, but you also were just a kid. Pe🐽rhaps he knew you would come for revenge and decided to nip that in the bud.
It's the same reas꧙on why the Bolsheviks killed Nicholas II's whole family and n🥂ot just the Tsar. It is difficult to tell if Sifu wants you to sympathize with Yang, but this certainly does win him any points.
3 𓂃 Don't You Still Kill A Lot Of People Even In The True Ending?
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:To see the true ending, you have to spare all the bosses' lives, including Yangꦅ's. The game makes it pretty clear you did something wrong in the first ending by killing those on whom you sought revenge. All the same, you still end up seriously injuring and probably killing a few people on your way to the bosses, even if you don't kill the big villain✨s.
You don't beat u🦩p dozens of people the way the protagonist does without sending at least some to th🌞e hospital, giving them irreparable injuries, or even ending their lives. After all, if the protagonist wanted to spare their lives, they should have just gone back home after the first level.
2 Wꦗill We See A Sequel?
Sifu is only the second game from developer Sloclap. The studio's first game was Absolver, a multiplayer game also centered around visceral combat. The developer does not have enough games to make a 🍒guess as to what comes next.
Given the number of questions about the s﷽tory in this list alone, a sequel could do a lot to tie up these loose ends. It is unclear whether the protagonist survives the true ending, so maybe we would play as a new character or resume the hero's adventure.
1 Why Are Ther﷽e No Consequences For Hitting Innocent People?
Some levels have innocent bystanders. You are able to hit t💎hem and there are no consequences for doing so. Even though the true ending is all about not killing those who murdered your family, you are still able to see this cutscene if you hit the innocent people.
We appreciate the freedom to do so, but the game should reward us for 🔥showing more restraint. It does in other parts of the game, afte🎶r all, such as avoiding some fights with certain dialogue choices.
