168澳洲幸运5开奖网:A couple of 🌼months after the last trailer, we now have another look at the upcoming 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Silent Hill: Ascension. Shown exclusively to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:San Diego Comic-Con attendees, this latest trailer serves to hammer home the overall tone of the upcoming interactive narrative game. But despite being the first 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Silent Hill game in over a decade, fans aren't impressed, with the new trailer leaving them more concerned than hyped.

This comes as footage from the Comic-Con trailer is shared online, letting everyone get a better look at what this Silent Hill revival will look like. Sadly, it's looking like a miss for most long-suffering fans who feel that the tone has strayed too far, failing to capture what made the original Silent Hill games so beloved by horror game fans.

You can check the trailer out for yourself before diving into any discourse, thanks to Reddit user RedPyramidScheme, who shared some footage captured from the Comic-Con crowd. Although quick heads up, things get pretty nasty, so maybe don't put it on if you're at work.

Since Silent Hill: Ascension is decision-based, it looks like we were shown one of the worst outcomes. It's horrific, that's not up for debate, but for some fans, it's a different kind of horror than earlier games. Not one they were hoping to see in the long-awaited Silent Hill revival.

"The old silent hill trailers were so well made, akin to psychological horrors like Lost Highway," says Reddit user Cure_Pain. "This, however, looks very basic. Looks like an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Until Dawn death scene."

Many agree with this not-so-favourable comparison, disappointed with the dire🌃ction the game is taking.

"All I see is generic in-your-face horror with no creepy atmosphere, no subtlety and nothing left to the imagination," says itscalledANIMEdad. "People will say not to judge the game on this short cinematic because it doesn't show the game, but everything it does show is maximally mediocre cookie-cutter horror with no sense of what distinguishes Silent Hill."

Silent Hill Ascension

There are a few hopeful fans, although some admit this is only because they have bee🍰n starved for Silent Hill content for so long now, with the last game launching in 2012.

"Ascension is the title that I have the least faith in," says TeamSilentHD. "But from what I've seen and heard, I feel like it's going to be quite a fun and interesting experience to go through, and I also feel like it could bring something to the franchise, albeit generic, but entertaining."

Silent Hill: Ascension doesn't have a release date yet. It's set to launch sometime this year.
