Yesterday, an explosive report from VGC claimed that Metal Gear, Castlevania, and Silent Hill are set to end their hiatuses and finally get new games. Multiple sources speaking to the publication said that external studios will mostly be behind these revivals, which include a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:remake of Metal Gear in💟spired by Snake Eater.
Now, a new report suggests that a familiar face could be working with Konami once more. According to a source , Kojima Products will be behind 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the rumoured Silent Hill games, and it will be funded by Sony.
In its wrᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ▨ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚite up of the VGC report, Gematsu states the following:
"Gematsu has also heard that a new Silent Hill is in development at a prominent Japanese developer.✅ That studio is Kojima Productions, according to a publishing source that wishes to remain anonymous, who also said that the game is funded by Sony Interactive Entertainment."
Adding validity to this report, about the news, saying, "Not too surprised. Last I heard, Micr꧃osoft and Kojima has signed that le🎃tter of intent, and there was never a non-compete. Seems like Sony would want to stay aggressive."
For multiple reasons, this story would be highly significant. Firstly, the most obvious factor here is that this pairs Hideo Kojima and Konami up for the first time since their big, nasty s༒plit in 2015. Among other things, this saw the cancellation of the highly anti🌼cipated Silent Hills, and the removal of its popular demo, PT.
On the other hand, if accurate, this news would counter Kojima's apparent shift over to Microsoft. Back in July, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kojima and Xbox signe✱d a letter of intent, suggesting that some kind of exclusivity deal for an upcoming project was close to being finalized. If the Gematsu repor🧸t is true, however, it would in🗹dicate that either the deal was never reached, or the deal does not prevent Kojima from working with Sony completely.
Hey, who knows, maybe they saw 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:that petition a bunch of PlayStation fans threw together?
